Best Place To Access Support For Site Building Issues?

Hi, I'm at my wits end with a problem with one of my sites.

I have migrated the site across to HTTPS and I am having a mixed content problem. I have tried several plugins and guides to fix this but no luck. It's now at the point where it looks like I'm going to have to start editing HTML files etc. and I'm worried i'm going to break my site.

I was wondering are there any forums or sites you can go to where you can basically list your site and state the problem and people will offer you advice and guidance on how to fix?

Assuming it’s wordpress, really simple ssl is a great plugin.

I assume you have updated the urls in WordPress settings as well.

If you’ve tried that and still got issue it probably is the case that you have non secure urls called from your css, php files and or pages.

You can look in the page source for your site and search for http://

Anything that comes up with a match, and the url is your site address, you need to find and change.

Appearance, editor is the place to go and most likely you’ll want to look at header.php, footer.php and style.css

If you struggle with that then you might be best opening a new thread in the hire a freelancer forum here, and you could get someone to do it for you.

I actually hadn't updated the URL's but it was Simple SSL that appears to have finally fixed it. Tried similar plugins but none had worked but this has done the trick it seems.
