Hello,

Starting a WH Affiliate site with a fairly limited budget. I'm deciding to write content myself and budget my money purely for SEO.

Images are an important aspect of content, but I haven't factored this into my budget.

How do you guys obtain images for your articles that are fairly specific?

I use pixabay but it depends on your niche. I usually make my own using clippingmagic to cut out different images then put them together to make something original

I can suggest some best website to buy photos online:
* Hutterstock
* Photocase
* Istockphoto
* Depositphotos
* Adobe stock
* Shutterstock

Should still work in 2018;

Have you considered using royalty free images from stocks?

Not sure if it's relevant for your niche, but taking screen of youtube vid can work

This is gold especially with HD videos and 4k screen :) just make sure to do some photoshop work like placement (size edit) and maybe add something so it makes it totally unique.

Type "public domain images" in Google and you will find several good places. Pixabay is a safe bet.
Sometimes you can take your own photo with the cell phone and process it with Pixlr-o-matic, to give it a special look. It would be as good as any stock agency photo, just follow basic photo composition principles - main subject, no distractions, etc.

what free tools do you use to do this, I have a blog and want to post images but dont know how to screen cap youtube videos in HD.

Your OS should have built in tool. if on windows, search for "snipping tool"
thanks found it, never even knew about that snipping tool free on windows lol

So just pause the video on youtube and than use snip tool and then change the color a bit

Awesome thread

Any suggestions for best tool/software to edit the images in a few dif ways to make them 'unique' to the almighty Google Empire?
