Would this work on a piece of content that shows data about a drop in website performance when website designers know nothing about SEO etc?

It’s kinda serious but also taking the p^ss out of clueless people not knowing what they’re doing

I don't think so. The account is factual - it's like a mini-version of Wikipedia.

It does also work well with comedy too, along with technology, latest news, that sort of thing.

It doesn't work with SEO related content, or people who are trying to obviously push something straight away. With Twitter people don't have their credit card in hand and aren't in 'Buying Mode'.
