Is it even worth it to continue growing my account

Background:
I have 3.5k followers, I grow my account organically 'by hand' meaning I dont use any type of bot or whatever. I never wanted to use bots, I juse want to do it 'fair'. I grow ' around 100 followers a week ( I dont do this full time, just a little 'sideproject' )

I grow my account by being active, using relevant hashtags, posting consistently every day and the follow/unfollow method. I know some of you are balling out there with IG and I hope I can get some help. Im not the type to give up but I just need some motivation or feedback.

So these are the problems:

- Im growing my account in a pretty contested niche -> Luxury so there are a lot of competitors
- Lately the IG algorithm ( I read this somewhere ) has changed which makes it harder to grow my account because I use the follow/ unfollow method. I heavily depend on this method
- I find it hard to compete with people who use bots all the time and they can grow faster than me
- I have no idea if my account will be profitable if I continue growing up to 10k and beyond
and I have no idea if this is going to take an eternity

I hope some of you can share your experiences with me or give me some good advice. If you have any questions let me know

Its obvious you are getting tired.

If you wanna grow your account without stress, You need a bot. No BOT equals to lot of works

Bot wont give you bot or fake results if used properly

I grew 3k followers in less than 3 weeks.

Why would you manually follow/unfollow when you can do the same using bots? it won't give you fake results - it will be the automated version of the method you're already using

Idk, I know nothing about bots thats one thing + I think it is going to take a while before I understand how it works and to do it properly as @dake40 suggested.

and yes hes right im kind of getting tired

There are lots of bot out there. I use Jarvee. Others use FL. These bot are just awesome.

Good thing is you can manage more than 10 accounts on autopilot (get a VPS and great proxy)

No offense but 3.5 k is nothing special and growing only 100 per week is bad. You will not get money from this

Did you read the thread? I said this was just a little side project so Im not doing it full time. Also I was doing everything by hand which is why it is so low. If you have any suggestioms how to use bots/ where to learn more and to do it properly without getting banned feel free to let me know

I am simply warning you that it is almost impossible for you to make money this way, not even by using bot. And bot cost money too. I have seen many people give up and they even do it full-time. Fact is unless you post viral content consistently, you are just spamming and have no future

Becouse you need to run the bot 24/7, and this wont be healthy for your own PC, So basicly the VPS is a PC running 24/7 for you

I am simply warning you that it is almost impossible for you to make money this way, not even by using bot. And bot cost money too. I have seen many people give up and they even do it full-time. Fact is unless you post viral content consistently, you are just spamming and have no future

I have read many stories of people doing really great, I dont understand why I wouldnt be able to do it too. Just because im small doesnt mean i cant grow?

Get a bot and configure it to do exactly what you currently do yourself - ie keep the settings fairly conservative.

You can still continue to do some manual work as well - but do the stuff a bot can’t do, like interacting with your followers or whatever.

Result is that you get the same result with a tenth of the effort.

Search the forum. Look at jarvee I think that’s the bot a lot of people are using (I must admit though I’ve not really worked with Instagram myself).

Look up some Instagram journeys as well, I’m pretty sure lots of people are making decent money on Instagram. You might just need to kick things up a gear when you get a bot up and running.

You will not make money since it seems (I might be wrong) that you don't have a concrete plan for your account. It seems you are just picking some minutes each week and trying it out. The thing is at the pace you're going right now it's gonna take ages and it's not worth it. As @davids355 said above, search the forum for Journeys there a lot of IG journeys that are succesful. Taking action is great, but without the proper knowledge and planning, it won't take you anywhere. I'd suggest now go out there and spend some time Learning about IG about the ways you can make money off it. The bots and tools used. The problems you might face. After reading and learning you need to come up with your own ideas and make a concrete plan and have a concrete realistic vision on what you want to achieve and how to do it, Then take action and don't quit !

Those who are doing fine have done that when IG still have very little spammers back then (when it is so much more profitable) and they have accumulated experience. And even then, they still do not make much. Mind showing me an example/a thread of people getting a lot of money by spamming.

Not to mention bot price have increased as well (the good one, that’s it because IG have cracked down on them, hence less competition and the survivors increase price big big time). And if you use bot, you will end up with creating a lot of accounts(the usual IG spammers pathway, which mean you need VPS, another $$)

If you still insist on doing it, I suggest you to maybe use free IG bot, it is not as good but at least you will not be stressed for wasting money. Also learn how to create quality content. Don’t be spammer. Make people want to follow your account, and not relying on follow/unfollow for getting followers(rely on F/U only on the beginning, for kickstarting your account). Also engage your followers. IG love high engagement post, which increase your post visibility

Anyways, just to make things clear the growth was slow because I did everything ' by hand '. But i guess Ill just have to use a bot now otherwise Ill never be able to compete.

Nope, bot is not the magic formula. I have seen a lot of people using good bot and still fails. The key is you should make people want to follow your account. Think about those actors and actresses in IG. People follow them naturally. And then they earn millions from ads
