Hey everyone, I've been following this forum for a few months but this is the first time I had a question that I couldn't find an answer to.

I am a social media marketer for my job. I only have to manage our 1 IG business account, and I figured I'd make things much easier for me by automating the follows, follow-backs, and likes. I used a lower quality program before (Boostfy) just for basic hashtag & location likes, but I downloaded Jarvee to try out, and I've set VERY conservative settings (30-50 follows a day, 100 likes a day) because our page only has about 1,600 followers and obviously I want to warm it up.

My main concern is that I don't get blocked/banned, as getting my company's page banned would be worst case scenario for my job. I have used proxies for other reasons so I know how they work, but I was wondering if I needed to use a proxy, or have any other safeguards in place, if I'm only using 1 account on Jarvee. As I said, my settings are very conservative and even at their 'peak' they won't be too nuts. I am on our IG page quite often on my phone to post pics and to reply to comments, if that makes any difference.

Most of the posts on here are about people running 5+ accounts (some running 500+) and I don't feel like that is relevant to my situation.

Thanks in advance!

The point of using a proxy is for being able to make tons of actions in a ton of accounts, the SAFEST recommendation is 1 proxy per account, so that is already done in your case. So you don't need a proxy.

I would not use a bot, if you are just running this account there's several ways to grow an account faster and more profitable than botting (F/UF). Doing it manually you can choose who to follow exactly, commenting, liking, building a community around.

Posting frequently and doing some powerlikes or engagement groups would work much better than a bot.

And if you have the budget you can go for Shoutouts or IG Ads.

So if you are planning on expending 10$/month on Jarvee and 5/10$/month on a VPS, save that and buy a shout out each week.

Well, if he is what he says he is ( SM marketer for a company) then first he should ask the company's permission and if he does have to spend money on shoutouts as per suggestion, it shouldn't be from his wallet but from the company's expenses.

Is it worth losing your job though?
No, which is why I came here to ask. And I wouldn’t lose my job as the industry my company is in (cannabis) have accounts banned / deleted all the time.

Yeah unfortunately we aren’t able to do Instagram ads, I would be pumping marketing money into that if we could. Since we’re in the cannabis industry we have 100% of our ad attempts denied by FB and IG.

I was hired as SMM but since it’s a small company I’m more of a content marketer, so I don’t have my full 8 hours a day to spend on social, so I went with the basics being covered by a bot.

Thanks for the suggestions though! I’m part of some groups but they’re not active so I should find some more.

I’m new to this, so don’t hold me on to this. Maybe someone with more experience can back my statement up?

But as far as I know a real IP is safer than using a proxy when just using one account. A real IP is considered a 'Residential IP’ which is the safest IP out there apparently.

So I’d stick with just your company IP, considering no other employees in your company are botting as well.

If someone with more experience could back this statement up, that would be great.

I do something very similar to you because I want to become an influencer with my account. Currently at 9.6K followers. (from 26) I have a buisness account linked to a page, to my personal FB of 9 years age...idk if that makes any difference.

I have been botting for about 4 months with no bans, many action blocks and many password changes, "wait a few moments to do that action". The past month I have finally found the correct settings/groove, so all I have is "wait a few moments to do that" every now and then when doing heavy account cleanup. I also use my account on my phone whenever I want to monitor things and save images/comment/DM (but those are very rare)

I do not use a proxy. I use my laptop at home to bot 24/7. I am performing about 1800 actions per day. (likes/follow/unfollow). My account is 1 year 1 month old.

So I say no proxy necessary, use an honest location, and try to keep it the same. Scale up slowly, if you have an Issue, mssg Instagram ( I asked to stop changing my password...never happened again! Idk I think they listen if you are a good quality acc even if you bot...maybe cuz I pay for cheap $15 ads regularly lmao)

Thanks for your help everyone! We'll see how it goes. Worst case, I'll just turn off Jarvee if I'm getting too many blocked actions.
