This is probably an old idea and has been made obselete by automating software like BMD4 and people offering social bookmarking services, but.... what are people's views on starting a social bookmarking club.

Im not sure of the exact details but basically if we got 100 or so people on a list who agreed to each bookmark each other's links then it would create a nice authentic looking bookmarking structure. No duplicate IP's, no duplicate usernames and an irregular bookmarking pattern.

- Anyone got any views on this?

- Reasons why it wouldn't work?

- Improvements/suggestions?

- Better options for a cost-effective bookmarking strategy?

Cheers

Yeah, I actually participated in a social bookmarking group. Turned out to be a really great way to get your niche research ripped off. I certainly will not expose my research and work that way again.

thats a good point. thats a real shame as its a very nice way of getting some natural bookmarks.

well said bro!, a sort of suicide.:D

That's not true. You need to get people that you trust and everything will be ok.
