Downside to buying likes + Impressions?

Fed up of trying to grow my page organically with all this IG crap continuously going on.

Has anyone experienced a downside to buying likes and impressions on posts?

I'm worried about buying followers and likes + impressions for my posts and it completely killing my organic growth...could this happen? Anyone experienced it?

I got my account to 17K (photography related) organically in about 7 months and was averaging 30% engagement, stopped posting for a month and lost all the momentum and now I've started again and my outreach and engagement has completely died. At this point I just want to continue growing it to build myself as a brand for future gigs but it won't be any use if I get completely cut off from organic growth.

It bricks your account. your organic reach will be extremely pushed down. Speaking from personal experience. Pushed my 7k account up to over 20k and my reach is absolutely demolished.

That's what I am working on right now. it will be a long while before I have any answers.

I'm not sure if it really does kill your reach out not, because by that notion you could just buy your competition likes and kill their reach and impressions...
