Worth be indexed by Yahoo Directory?

It's really good to be indexed by Yahoo Directory to pay more than 200$ early to it?

I honestly don't think it's worth that much in my opinion. I think Yahoo's popularity is really dying quickly anyway. If it was a google product...maybe.

You can be get indexed in Yahoo directory by submitting your rss feeds in my yahoo. No need to pay them $200.

This is really in question, now, because Yahoo! search is going to be powered by Bing soon. If you know anything about Bing's search algorithm, than you know its a lot easier to rank and you don't need a link from yahoo's directory.

If this was before Microhoo I would say if you have the cash go for it, now, I say wait until the switch and see your serps

I think Yahoo has a similar version of Google Froogle. You might want to have a look into that.

Id have to agree with this guy here. In the coming months when bing starts powering Yahoo search, it probably wont be worth the $300 you have to pay to be in there.
Considering you can get indexed for free, and submitted to Yahoo Local and show up all over Yahoo, that directory isn't worth much anymore.

Even Google removed it from its webmaster guide.
