Yesterday a company in my niche approached me to write about their product on my blog. This is my first time that some company approached me. And I have no idea what should i demand them for the review.

Not much not less, In your experience what you guys demand..

BTW product cost in my niche is $100 - $400

One thing i am sure is that i will demand a do-follow link from there site. But if they link me and i link them the power of the link will be of no use. So what should i do to link them without making equivalent link.

I am thinking that i should do this

mysite ---> goo.gl (any 301 site) -----> company site.

Will this work as i expect .. Let me know..

Thanks members

How much you can charge will depend on the quality of your site, how long the content/review is. Are they offering you a product in return for the review? If so, I wouldn't expect a payment on top of that. Getting a reciprocal link is also probably unlikely. Some of the factors are design, quality of content, relevancy, and metrics like Doman Authority, Domain Rating, Trust Flow, etc.

The company is quite big and is globally known.. They spend huge on TV ads , Facebook and from all other sources available. I was thinking of demanding $50 / month and a link . In this way i can maintain that blog each month.

What should i say for demanding this, but in a professionally way

I wouldn’t “demand” anything, you can definitely ask for a Link and $50mo but this is unlikely. I have been in the industry as an outreacher, guest Poster, Link buyer for close to ten years. Month to month and reciprocal links went out years ago. Most are going to want to offer a free product in exchange for a review or make a one time payment if payment is involved.

So how big the brand is doesn’t automatically equal a bigger payout, it all depends on how they value your site. If you want to post your site and what they are asking I would be happy to tell you what I consider a fair valuation to be.
