But if you will do it from India with his data, and if you do so I'm thinking you are carding then no it won't work, if he does it from USA then it will probably work,

Of course it will work dear, without any problem. Just ask him to use your Indian address as shipping address.
One more important thing ask him to purchase on Indian Amazon store not on USA amazon.

I don't think this will happen. I am 100% sure that he can make purchase with his card without any problem. I always purchase from USA store with my card and get my delivery.

Simply take his email of PayPal and add in payment the payment will deduct from your American friend's account and you will add shipment address to your Indian home

If you are from India, why not use a debit card or netbanking or even cash on delivery to your local address? I mean there is no compulsion to use only a CC to purchase from Amazon India.

If you use your American friends CC here locally in India to purchase, it won't work as CC would be blocked for security reasons when used from a non-USA IP. I am saying this out of experience. No issues if he buys from Amazon India himself from USA and uses his CC. This way his payment will surely be accepted on Amazon India.

But still not sure whey would you want your American friend to use his/her CC on Amazon India.
