Hey guys,
I was using the eBay Partner Network to drive serious cash, they banned me for spamming twitter, which I regret, but I was on a roll making about $200 a day before without twitter.

Here's how it work's, it's extremely basic:

1. Find a really cool car on eBay with an extremely high price, I'd recommend the rarer the better and it's got to be over $500k.
- If you pick an auction that's like $30K, they will accuse you of posting your own auction, so make sure it's obviously a special auction.
2. Find a forum site which discusses the car you've picked or related vehicles. For instance, I found the first Mustang GT500KR on eBay, it was like insanely expensive, so I found some Mustang forums to post it on.
3. Create at least 10 posts on the site which aren't related to eBay, you need a minimal post count for people to believe you're not a bot.
4. Post a topic, in the general forum, with a title such as 'Holy SH*T, you won't believe the price of this Mustang!".
5. In the body put, "OMG, I was just browsing ebay for parts and I stumbled upon this badass Mustang, I'd love to own one, but you won't believe the price - <ebay link>".
6. Rinse and repeat on other related forums.

So why does this work? Well each time a visitor goes through the eBay link they are cookie'd and a very high percentage of these forum members buy parts regularly on eBay Motors. Each related topic will get you at least 200 uniques, I was getting 10k hits to eBay Partner Network with about 30 - 40 posts a week.

Had I not been banned, I would do this again, and I plan on doing this again if I can get another account.

This makes huge money, and I cleared thousands with this method. Try it yourself and post your results. I recommend car sites, but you could find any forum that potentially shops on eBay to do this.

VERY IMPORTANT: One thing I have to STRESS is that the link HAS to be value adding to be a successful money maker for you. You need the link to stay around, and you want people to bump it with comments. Now, there is NO reason to spam, as you can make thousands quickly with very few posts. You will definitely make less money if you spam, spamming this does not work! Tools to automate this should always have a custom message printed by a human that fits each forum's genre. For instance, I have automated it, but I have a tool that let's me change the message for each niche of forum, this is critical, it MUST BE VALUE ADDING, IF YOU INTEND TO SPAM ONLY YOU WILL MAKE NOTHING! I tried spamming it, $0.00 earnings for months, then I stopped spamming and made serious cash, it was a revelation!

PS: Of course make sure the eBay rover link is cloaked, users won't click on rover links!

PS: If you do this right, you'll be seen as adding value to the forum and never get tagged as a spammer, ever. I still have all these forum accounts and none have been banned.

This is a good method, too bad I got banned for CSing and don't wanna fork over for a new account. Thanks and it does give me some other ideas.

I've built a script which autoposts to these forums, I'd be willing to share this in exchange for some ideas.

Can you tell me more about how you were banned? Were you banned from twitter or from the ebay partner network? How did they find out you were spamming? What cookie stuffing program or code did you use? How can you hide with CS'ing to make it undetectable next time? What do you have to fork over to start again, how much does it cost. If it's such a great idea, are you ramping up to do it again? Thanks, looks like the ban piece is missing to me. If I can set this up backwards to prevent your ban, I will. Thanks.

thanks mate ! great idea. I will try it out since i m not able to earn anything with cpa

I was banned not because of the forum promotion, I was banned because I did something eBay didn't like. See, eBay had registered a Twitter account, however, when I followed the link from the eBay site, the account did not exist! I registered the account and got tons of hits from eBay itself, which I sent back to eBay making huge cash, this pissed them off big time :) But it was a legendary link I had to take advantage of it!

I was banned from the eBay Partner Network.

They found out I was spamming by visiting the twitter link on their page and finding not their account, but my account :)

No cookie stuffing was involved, the entire system is laid out above in steps 1 - 6.

Again, no cooking stuffing, so no need to hide anything but cloak your link.

To start this costs you nothing, no programs were used until I coded my own script.

If I can get an eBay account again, hell yes I'd quit my job for this.

As I said, the ban to eBay Partner Network was do to spamming Twitter which was unrelated to the above strategy. If you DON'T SPAM the forum, and post a relevant item, you're gold! I got massive rep on forums posting some items :) People were loving the links!

Try it and PLEASE share your experience, I'm here to help others if I can :)

this would work, before. now you are not allowed to post content on pages you don't own. and you are also not allowed to blank the refferer anymore per ebay's new rules. i would be very careful with this one.

Would this still be profitable with Ebay's new pay per click program?

That's easy to get around, create a blog, post the link on the blog, use Pretty Link to cloak the link and post this link to your forum, the referrer will appear to be coming from your blog where the post is :) Solved :)

was just thinking the same thing

Cookie lasts 7 days, that's why you find sites where people buy stuff off eBay, cars is a great place, they are buying parts all the time. I was worried about cookie length myself, but it wasn't a problem if you found the right kind of forum!

If you're not sure if people buy on ebay, search the forum for ebay, lots of threads means people regularly do business on ebay.

Cool thread and nice method. If I could provide you the EPN accounts, would you like to do a JV on this? I'm sure we could work together creating some new stuff as well

Absolutely I will JV on this. Great Idea, I have the scripts ready to go as well as 40 established forum accounts.

I'm working with my host to get my domain back which has my scripts on it, I bought a new computer and forgot to save my old scripts on the new HD, I will have my scripts hopefully today and then I can show you :)

Have to say it is a great idea, I think it will work with Amazon and other affiliate program as well, but ebay is the big fish for sure.

Yes, I was thinking amazon will work too, any big affiliate program in the top 1000 websites should work.
