I did that yesterday, reported and just asked for it to be removed, I don't even see why we should give a specific reason, it should be normal that you can remove a content you posted on a forum...

Despite this I like the place, I just don't really appreciate finding I'm losing the control on the roots of my posts

I can read. Perhaps you should've taken your own advice. Think about the type of forum we're on and all of the ways editing and deleting your posts at will could be exploited and used maliciously.

I appreciate your frustration @psyxo but hopefully you can appreciate how chaotic the forum would be if members were allowed to have full control over all content past and present- it would open up a lot of issues in itself.

Just like @WizGizmo said; just think about what you post before you post it and you should be fine.
