Rank dropping - Still has traffic though

I am having a situation where the important keywords I track are dropping in ranks but my traffic is increasing.

What can I do to gain my ranks back please? Note it is an e-commerce website.

Hi, @Fevi. Maybe that happened because there are more competitors in the market. You can also check your site because maybe you don't' have enough domain authority, your content is disorganized or your bounce rate is high. Audit your site if there are parts that you need to improve. Double your effort in making quality content.

Traffic is not decrease means may be your site backlink is low compare with your competitors. So try to get more high domain authority backlinks for your site.

Thanks guys. So with DA/DR, I have more than the major competitor. My site has DA of 55 while the competition has 45. Nothing has changed for us from bounce rate point. But we haven't been building as much of backlinks as we have done in the past mostly because we have maxed out most sites in the country.

I will need ideas to get newer backlinks.

How many keywords are you targeting? Update site regularly with keyword rich content. Usse proper tags. Find the bad links which are harming your rankings. Check if some competitors are doing negative SEO on your site. Is the traffic direct or indirect?

First thing after having your new website,u just need to focus on on-page seo including all the major factor like page tittle,meta description,content, and everything that are included in On-page SEO. then after you just need to have some good Off-page SEO skills which can help you generate some good backlinks man.
