Hi BHW Members,
I just created a website where I am offering Digital Marketing services but one rival created 725 spammy backlinks onto it. This number is still increasing.

The site is brand new. Can someone tell me how to remove it and prevent the site from any such attacks in future.?

Thanks!

You can't prevent them, just build solid links on trusted site and these attacks will be useless.
For now your only option is the disavow function on google webmaster tool

Can you please explain a bit?

Yes, as @Monsterer @iAuthority @virtualbyron said, you can use Google Webmaster Tool. Follow the instructions below

1. You can save all the links in a text file
2. listing each link down to another
3. Login to your site authorised Webmaster Account
4. Visit this link https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/disavow-links-main
5. Follow the c=screen instruction and upload the .txt file and then you're done !

In max 10-15 days all the links are supposed to be disavowed.

Awesome.
No words to thanks

I would suggest you better hire a link removal company and they will do it for you and you focus on building good links, you cant do everything at same time. and did you get any notification from google about spammy links.

Disavow them on google. Spammy links hardly index and most of them will disappear anyway with time.

As others said, try to disavow the spammy links and focus on adding quality links from high authority sites.

It's bad luck that such thing started on a new domain... otherwise if you have an established site with decent backlink profile you don't need to worry. Right now you can try Google disavow tool on search console (webmasters tools)

You should focus on building good links instead, do not worry about these bad links.

What do you mean by Don't worry. Bad links will always pull down your site's Trust Flow. So we must take care of bad links at first.

Actually, once you start ranking and become popular this is common. If you have good quality links to your website, these bad links will not harm much.
