Do you guys do Uber, Postmates, Amazon Flex, etc...?

Pretty much the entire point of BHW is to learn how to make money without doing that shit ( or working a corporate role )
Unless you figure out a way to work the system (and I highly encourage you to), you're pretty much getting screwed as an employee and making slave wages with these gig jobs.

In saying that they are a decent way to get by whilst your building your projects. I do a bike courier job part time while I build my businesses up. Also the company I work with has a referal reward of £100-250 a sign up, as such I'm working on a method of maybe exploiting that by running FB Ads to a landing page and promoting my link.

The EPC on this is stupid good as I do something along these lines despite not driving at all.

My guess is there are lots of others that are fine with the "slave wages" who are gaming the system by being paid to market their own products or services.

I like the way you thinking but I quit my job for doing Uber and Amazon Flex and with 8 hours of work I make more than my previous job and working 2 hours less and the rest of my time I spend it doing IM projects.

That's great. It can be a good part time crutch while you build out other projects. I'd hope most people here are smarter but there's a lot of people who think the basic gig is feasible long term. They don't do the math and calculate gas/ repair costs and up making less than minimum

I work for both postmates and doordash and I can tell you doordash pays way better. Way higher minimum, they pay you based on order size and complexity, not necessarily mileage driven.

Alot of these guys, shipt, uber, postmates, etc all have affiliate programs. You get a piece anytime someone signs up for the job through your referral. I was actually looking into it like day before yesterday. Thats why you see uber adverts taking up 60% of CL job ads. Well in my area atleast.

This is exactly my plan. I want to start a blog and write an ebook about applying for my job how to fill everything out and how to do the job etc. I'll write about my experience on the blog and promote the ebook through a landing page and send facebook PPc targeted traffic to it. Also do IG and YouTube to build a brand. Even 1 sign up a week on the lowest referral fee and I'll be making about the same as I do now working part time.

I'll look into some groups. My job is very popular among students and cyclists so would you recommend joining and participating in student groups and cyclists groups?
Got to start making notes . The keyword searches for X referral code etc is decent I found and competition looks appealing so I plan on making a page to target that keyword and build up links and some PBN links. Heck I suppose considering I'll be in the cycling niche I could built affiliate pages like Amazon affiliate. Damn this could be a nice project. Get some strong cycling page backlinks...
Hmm lots to think about. Good thing is that I can start the website and content with a small budget and market on a tight budget. Only issue is that sign up earnings will be personal not through my company so I'll have UK income tax and not the lower corporation tax :/ although affiliate commission's I'll run through my company.

University groups would be where I would be going with this... you would be amazed at the amount of shares you get when you get a post you made that resonates with them.
I can't tell you how much money I made last year on the Uni crowd as my posts were getting shared left and right and they see FB as a medium that is mainstream and authentic.
Plus college kids are almost all broke and are looking for a way to generate some cash.
Cycling groups are more hobby and less "how can I make money with my bike" + they are probably inundated with road bike owners who are looking to do a 50 mile ride on Saturday morning with a group of like minded people.
