Advice Needed - High Affiliate Commission - Promoting on FB PPC?

So without giving too much away.

My job means I can get up to £250 for each new person I refer to work. It's a very popular job among students due to its very flexible work hours. I was wondering if a) Facebook allows affiliate link/referral links as advertisements b) what would be the best way of testing this out the small scale?

Is it best to create a landing page or go straight to the referral link? The person I refer receives £50 and we both get paid after a certain milestone is reached (easily done in a few days/week).

I have some target audience ideas. I guess as long as I can track everything accurately I just need to make sure my costs per acquisition is below the £250 mark and I'll make a profit?

Seems very simple but I'm sure there's probably some issues so just wanted to ask some advice. Just thought it might be a clever way of making some extra ££££. 1/2 a week and I'd be earning more than I make working part-time (I'm a student also)

I'd appreciate any advice/criticism and guidance on how I can test this out a small scale and potentially scale?

If you can target the right audience precisely, you can make huge money but your offer must me legit and demanding.

A landing page was my idea. It's a very popular legitimate company thats not MLM it's just a simple refer someone and after they do X criteria you both get reward. They are popular among students and I'm guessing have a high turnaround due to the student base and the fact that they must lose a few people during holidays when students go back home. That's why I think they have such an attractive reward.

I'm going to play around for a few weeks and see what I can do. I'll test out quite a few advertisement styles etc and see what works if anything. I'm going to test £100 and see what happens. If I get 1 sign up and milestone reach then I've at minimum broken even or made 2-2.5x return.

Do you have any quick advice on a cheap landing page system? PPC and this type of affiliate marketing is pretty new to me as my main focus used to be Amazon affiliate. Thanks for your reply.

2 things you should keep in mind below:
1. Do not Compromise with the lander because Best lander gives the best conversion rate.
2. Always does the "Split Test" to find the best lender, ads copy and targeted audience.

you need to make a sales funnel and a retargertiing camapaign if you ever want to squeeze the most out of ppc and cpa. driving traffic to a landing page and trying to get an ROI that way is not something you should be aiming for.

It's a popular job among students. Would a blog be a better angle of testing? A blog centered around advice for the job and how it works and just try using CTA buttons for them to sign up using my referral link? I am working on a few other projects so ideally wanted to do something fairly simple that I could just test and see if it's worth pursuing a bit more.

well in sales funnels you gotta build up trust and provide value. what do i mean by that?
well the blog should be more like some guys blog who really benefitted from this job and wants to help the traffic achieve the same, you know all that optimistic shit. obviously put a split test on THIS, basically your landing page. have a few other articles on aswell, to provide legitness.

yeah you can try that too, well the thing is in PPC you have to split test things. i'll give you a lil tip. write shit down, make a plan, a NEAT one. have atleast 3 split tests ready for your mind and record your data in a sheet for which works or which doesn't.

i'd say provide a free ebook on ' learn how i got accepted for this job EASY. download the 10 simple steps for approval ', or a similar lead magnet. remember, this is what's building trust of the traffic while also providing value, you have to maintain this ratio of trust and value. after you collect your leads, split test your email campaigns i.e; whether to keep warming the traffic with value and ' tips ' or ' how to's ' and then put up an affiliate link when you think you've got them warm enough. maybe you don't really need to do that at all. you'll have to test and i suggest reading more about sales funnels and the different types.

then comes the retargetteing campaigns as well.

thing is, you can't just make things simple, that's now how ppc works. ppc is all about optimization. your THOUGHT process is not right, when you start out with ANY campaign in general, especially if you're a beginner in PPC, you need to test out what works and what doesn't, split test, optimzie and then you get something out, only then can you know how simple you want to run the campaign. whether you want to make sales funnels within sales funnels, or just a simple sales funnel, don't aim for simplicity yet, focus on building trust and value, and warming traffic. imagine yourself arriving at the LP, would you sign up, what will make you sign up?

i'll give you an advice, make a PLAn, write it down, draw everything, make atelast 3 sales funnel ideas. and NEATLY draw them out, like when you're seeing your plan, you should be fluent in understanding how it works. then record your data and optimzie that way. i never did this, but now i do and this really helps, not only in PPC but in everything really. this way you wont' get confused with shit.

remember, ppc is split testing and gathering data and optimizing it. and ppc with CPA or with any product, you should focus on building TRUST and value.

Hey, been planning the last few days and have blog post ideas etc. I plan to use the website to talk about everything to do with the job from signing up to doing the work with hints and tips and answering commonly asked questions along with my opinion.

The idea I have so far is the homepage to be a simple intro with titles like welcome to x.com learn how I make money doing X along with tips etc. (Something like that) with a CTA button to referral page and some boxes below that saying how to sign up in 3 easy steps or maybe 3 reasons why to do X job.

As for a landing page for advertising I was thinking an ebook as you mentioned which is basically as you say how to sign up and put my referral link in that ebook and a link back to my site to learn more . I'm not sure how effective it will be collecting emails though as my target audience is mostly students :/ ?

I plan to then point everyone from my offline advertising (flyers, word of mouth/ my talking to people) and my PPC advertisement to this ebook download page.

Is that rough plan going in the right direction?
