Hi, I am new to youtube ranking, and I have been trying to rank one youtube video for a week.
I managed to get it on page 1 18th(ish) position on the keywords I targeted.
I use ytrank to check my rank.
Well I checked my video today and it's not even showing up on top 10 pages. (everything was fine 2 days ago)
I went to my video and saw there are 100+ dislikes (that weren't there before)
My video wasn't even getting that massive traffic to have those dislikes in about one-two days,
My questions are, Can somebody derank my video just by sending 100 dislikes on it ?
If so then what should I do to recover? or to prevent this from happening in the future.
Will I have to start over again and rank it all over again ?

if you a get a massive amount dislikes at once that could a sign of a flagging attack on your videos or channel.

I guess so, however, I'd contact YT support and pray that they can assist me well since that doesn't happens very often

You should consult with YouTube but it seems like a fading outbreak on your video.

Yes, I do this to rivals. The only strategy is to hide the votes, but that also suppresses your video. It's better to hide the votes than to allow hundreds of dislikes. You can also try uploading a video per day or more because the rival eventually stops buying dislikes. The only time YouTube did something was when I bought dislikes for a big channel with 1 million subscribers and 100,000 views per video. They only care about big channels.

so youtube deranks a video if it gets lots of dislikes ? i was once uploading anime previews and the channel kept for about 3 months and then got deleted by youtube for copyright strikes and what was weird is that there are lots of channels that do the same thing and they dont get flagged.do u think they were the one who reported me and that youtube algorithm didnt actually catch me like it didnt catch them ?

YouTube is inconsistent and there is too much favoritism. Who knows why some channels go years without problems and others have problems after just one video.

Likes/dislikes have no correlation on rankings

I guess sometimes it just acts Random .lots of big channels got a hit for random stuff. I remember one guy who made anime theories on one piece. he says he got Flagged because he filmed himself wearing a one piece shirt FFS. and his channel is big too
