I know that making own sites is cheaper than buying established ones, but I tried to make my own site, spent 250$ and get 1 visitor per day from Google. So I decided to start flipping.
I have found a nice site with 80 written articles and 3-5 visitors per day for 200$ but I'm not sure if it's OK to buy it. Or would it be better to find a site with income for 300-600$ and develop it?
Sincerely

' nice site with 80 written articles and 3-5 visitors per day for 200$ '

Looks a fair price, but how old is it ?
Daily visitors is low, but if it's a clean, unpenalised site it has potential.

Affiliate type sites are usually sold as XXX x earnings, so keep that in mind.

Other things to consider ;

How good are you at Wordpress / codong to build your own sites.
SEO, do you do you own and are you proficient ?

Too many variables to answer this with a definite answer.

I'm not sure if I can show the site, but it seems clean. I'm not really good at estimating the price value. The domain is three years old. I know basic SEO and on-page SEO quite well, but have no idea about links and stuff. However, for my website I ordered a 200$ package and it didn't really work.

Really ? I have some sites with 100+ articles each and 10 pv a day -5 months old) and I am confused whether to even renew the hosting or not.

Keep site details private, once you share it to others you have basically outted your niche and site.
You'll run the risk of lots of new competition or possibly Neg SEO.

What's the reason the seller is actually selling ?
Do they have 99 - 100% seller feedback ?

Depends on various factors; article word count, quality of the writing and maybe the one the OP is considering buying is a week old....

Because the seller can't invest anymore and he is discouraged because the site has no traffic.

Personally I'd be tempted to go for it, if the content is great it's worth the price just for the articles.

But a lot of such websites remain unsold on Flippa. Will you sell those articles for profit ?

If the articles would fit into a site I already have and I could use, then that is why I would be interested.

I'm not going to buy a site about baby blankets if my niche is soundbars, am I ?

And using those Google indexed articles on your site will not affect SEO ?

But probably it would be better to buy a more expensive site but already with income, or not?

Newbie here - so just trying to break this down a bit.

So, you know someone with a site, that has some decent content, and no traffic, but would sell cheap...so you are considering. And, you want to know if it is worth it, to flip I assume...now or later possibly, and I am assuming that all depends on if you get the site...how long it takes to see an increase in traffic, which is quantifiable as (traffic + relevance = potential market reach) it relates to an increased valuation to prospective buyers.

Furthermore, you are also wondering if you should spend more, to get something more established... Assuming the former assumptions are true, then as I believe stated before in your thread - something that is modular to your day to day activities in which you generate revenue already.

-----------------------------------

If that describes what this thread is really about, then here is my opinion. 1) a one to five visitor a day site with 80 articles isn't worth the renewal fee to icann IMO 2) if you are willing to find something at 150 -200% more out there that may have more of traits you are looking for, I still believe the root issue isn't being solved. So, take a few hundred bucks, find a nice 6 or 7 letter - brandable - .COM - hot of the expired list, find a way to market it, then build up the content, and the SEO to match, vapor some social buzz, write a couple sponsored op-eds (or have someone on Fivr do it for you).....then, and most importantly, spend the 100 bucks on google adwords (when ready) bidding super low on relevant-ish keywords so you are just getting scraped on adsense sites all day since your budget is great, but PPC budget too low - run out the month, and there you go... You'll go from zero to a couple thousand linked back results in google search before your 100 bucks runs out which you should see 3 - 6 months of bloated relevancy in exchange for it.

Then go flip a site for up to 5 times your buddies, more than likely....POS.
