Hey guys,

I currently have a site ranking on page #1 for several keywords. I started a second site to have 2 sites ranking on page #1, just because.

My question is, do I need to keep these two sites separated, like it's owned by two different people? Not using the same PBNs, same emails etc?

As in: Does it matter if Google knows that it's the same owner for both sites?

Kind of too late anyway since I've left a lot of "footprints" already, the thought didn't hit me until now. Oh well, I'm curious.

Thanks in advance!

its best to have separate emails for each domains, makes things easier to manage i think,
Its ok if you've just made a simple mistake, just try and not make it again going forward, thats all you can really do.
PBN's are tricky, but you can read everything here

That taught me a shit load of good stuff.
Yea that's true, it's better having two different emails even just for ease. I've already mixed up the two sites with some customers.

I have missed that thread - Will read through it now. Thanks for that!

I would keep them separated, if anything happens to one site being flagged by google, you can rest assured that the other one is not affected.

Yeah, I mean, better to be on the safe side right. Doesn't take much to keep them separated, so why not. Thanks!

If Your keyword content and description is different in both website there is no issue to rank same keyword on two sites. If content is same in both website its big issue according to google guideline, Please check your content ratio on both websites. It is below 15%.

Thanks for your reply.

I wrote all the content from scratch on both sites, so they're not the same at all. Slightly different topics within the same niche.
