Large hairy spiders. Nasty. Here in Hawaii we have cane spiders big as your hand, they run like the wind and can see you coming from across the room. The worst.

Had one in the cockpit a while back. Horrible flight, sitting on the window next to my head as big as my hand... Mother fuckin spiders on my mother fuckin plane!

Funny how logic controlled the irrational fear until on the ground but I was the first mofo out the plane though!!

I know this sounds messed up but... I find that spider kinda cute!

I still find cockroaches scarier though.... especially the ones that fly. Those fuckers can't fly properly and would usually hit on people.

To only cockroaches that can fly are called palmetto bugs. They are bigger than regular roaches and life natively in palm trees. We see them all the time in south Carolina.

1. Phone phobia, believe it or not I'd rather travel 3 hours to talk to someone face to face than calling them. Even if it's a 5 min conversation.

People, society in general. I have panic attacks and anxiety all the time. Home is my safe place. Animals are my therapy.

You need medical help, my friend. Anxiety can be suppressed using medications. Go see a psychiatrist.

Oh dear, I can't believe I missed out this post. Seems like anafsp1 is suffering from social anxiety disorder, which led to agoraphobia. My brother had agoraphobia once and it was due to his severe panic attacks in the past.

SSRI medications like Prozac (which my brother was/is on) and benzodiazepines for immediate relief can help. Along with cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). Also, read up about the spotlight effect.
