Sup guys,

should i rather focus on creating content or rather link building?
How do I know when to stop creating content and to concentrate on building links.

I would go this way :
- Focus on good, minimal content (length depends on your niche)
- Optimize On Page SEO
- and only bow that you've got that you can start build a backlink strategy (and still add content if you want to ofc)

IMO ranking with backlinks without good content is at least way harder, at worst almost impossible

When to stop adding content? When you are already targeting every single keyword within your niche. And if your niche isn't too narrow, then this will take a while.

And focus on both obviously. But first, content.

You have to focus on both. First create a unique content, and with that do some link building techniques, create social signals. Its the continuous process.

Both. Target long tail keywords when writing articles, use related search terms from Google search.

Come on, at the back of your head, you already know the answer. Both are important. Start with good content, then start SEO.

I would suggest, concentrate on both. Content ans link building both are important.

Quality contents are the contents which are unique, has the keywords, understood by the visitors and keep visitors engaged.

If you've posted quality contents then it will definitely increase the traffic on your website or application. From SEO point of view, if there are contents with high rated keywords then it will put your website on top rank. Contents are king because this is the way to impress and invite valued customer towards you.

If there are quality contents then no need of advertising too, you will automatically get the hits.

Now a days, best option for introducing your business is the social media now. Contents which you will placed on it will be followed by thousands of people at a time. It helps to increase the visitors on your website. You can place any type of contents on the social media. You can place audio, video, images anything.

You can use the hash tags in it. Use maximum keywords while posting the contents. You will surely find the difference in the visitors and business.

Link building is is the strategy in the SEO by which you can gain the visitors. There can be back-linking by posting on forum, writing the blogs or by responding to the queries on the forum.

You can also add the internal links that is link from the web-contents from one site to another or from one page to another of the same site.

This become the best option for increasing the visitors.

It depends on the type of links which you are following for the back-linking. Make sure those are not spam links. It takes weeks if you will follow the proper procedure for back-linking.

Here are some more techniques of the link building -

1. Backlining
2. Forum psting
3. Social media posting and commeting
4. Blog posting and commenting
5. Internal links

The obvious answer is both. But from my little experience i would go with backlinks. the Google algo doesn't care if your content is engaging or interesting, all it cares about is if you are using the right keywords and if you have strong backlinks. you will find some websites that are always ranking the first page of google just because they are considered as authority with strong backlinks and a decent content. who cares about your engaging content if your website is ranking 90 and no one could see it. I would say 70% backlinks and 30% content.

You need focus on Many Facts to get in #1.

First Content.
2nd OnPage SEO. Do not over optimize.
3rd OffPage SEO (Link Building, Social Profile) Building Authority.

Everything is very important to Rank on 2018 Google.

If your just starting, I’d go with content. No point sending links when you’ve got minimal content.

I usually go with a 3k article to target main kw then 5 support articles before I start building Web 2.0, YouTube and other leeches sites. If you build these yourself - guess what you’ll need - content!

Also I’m a believer in link velocity so first 3 months should be mostly content and diversity links. Then I’d ramp up on links at end of month 3.

Let your site simmer for a bit and see where you rank. If you’re main keywords hit front page - then I’d add more content to target other kw in your niche. If you’re stuck on 2nd and 3rd page, you’ll likely need more links.

It really depends where you are in your journey. Personally I prefer content - outsourced, scraped, or written myself. I can post these on my sites, use them on Web 2.0 and use them for guest posts. My 2c

Both.

Content needs to better than your competitors and solid enough to make any potential competitor dread targeting the same keyword.

Aim for longevity, might take you longer to ROI but your site will survive through the years.

It will def help with outreach too.

Do enough to stop others from competing & compete in a field where you can dominate.

Aim for top spot or don't even try.

SEO is all or nothing. Remember that. Top 3 spots takes most of the traffic.

If i were you, i will create 100 unique article with ON SEO optimized, at the same time i will share those articles and create backlinks from them.
One last thing don't forget to find your competitors and try to outrank them.
Good luck

Definitely quality content first. If the content is not good enough then you need more backlink to rank on.

you should only focus on creating good content and then publish it on your website, after do you must provide social signals to your that post, link building is the most last step, first make good content then share it with your audience and you know better top 10 social media sites are facebook gplus twitter reddit, instagram etc.... when your audience will go from that platform to your website then it will be called real traffic after that google will pick to which number they should put your article in first 10 pages of google on your main or related keyword in that article. after that link building comes in last. ok

Focus on Both Link building, and content.

Link building - there are many techniques, but for each and every technique content is require, so write unique content for each single off-page technique.
In Link building focus on Tier 1 Tier 2 tier 3 link building

Regarding content - Prepare fresh unique content for PR, Article, Guest blog, Blog, 1 content per website unique and share the link via social media profiles.

Both the things are important. But you should focus on contents at first. If you build contents for your main keywords which is well optimized, just jump on building backlinks in good spam free blogs.
