You need to ask better questions. Obviously selling your skills and expertise as a video editor would be a start.
 
You can also try to approach video creators directly and see if they need your services (although, you will still need to have some samples of your work to prove its quality)

start with having a portfolio first. If you do not have any, contact some companies/webmasters which fit your client niche, and do some quality work for them, either for FREE or offering a huge discount. In turn ask these clients to refer you more clients. Continue this for a month or two and you will have your first 5 clients in no time. Then you can gradually expand to online marketplaces like fiverr or freelance websites.

Outreach to company with your sample work, If they like, they would hire you part time or full time.
 
You should start with Fiverr. Develop your skills and you may apply for a job in a company for that post.
 
  1. Freelance, Fiverr gigs for different video services

  2. Create video templates for different video softwares. Let's say Sony Vegas. Find some low comp Google keywords, for example "Sony Vegas Intro Template", "Buy Sony vegas outro template" etc > SEO > Sell same template over and over again on autopilot. Upload these on Fiverr, where you also can sell the same template over and over again (just change a word here and there).
 
Your priority right now should be building your portfolio, a showcase of what you can do. Owning and showcasing your work on your own website would be a huge bonus too. When you approach clients/when they approach you, the first thing they will always want to see is your work, because it shows 2 main things
A) Your experience/capability
B) Your style.

You don't need clients to build a portfolio. It could be a personal one, projects you've worked on in the past or something you've done for a friend etc. If you're willing, you can also offer to do some work for free for x, y and z companies just to build up your name a little. Again, this should be your first step because turning up empty handed will, well...you get the point lmao. After that, you have a wide range of possibilities, ranging from starting up a business on Fiverr (easier to manage), to your own actual business where you look for and take on clients (can be much more profitable if done right). Freelancing is the direction I'm guessing you'll be headed at first. Oh and lastly, you have to be willing.
