Buying quality links

I have bought backlinks and guestposts here and there and have to say that the results are pretty ambigious so far. The in-deep inspection of the corresponding report/results was often accompanied by anger and pain.

Anyhow, all this business is often carried out in a somehow shady manor, resulting in a question of luck if you get a roi - not in terms of ranking, hey, not so far, just in terms of quality and reliability.

I certainly understand that every provider fears some action by G when there is the alleged risk of being dismantled.

Is there any site of highly/more professional nature, e.g. showing ahrefs/moz stats, offering guarantees for the link durability and the quality of content? I have already red some reviews about e.g. some established guest posting platforms - the (seemingly honest and real) reviewers were not overwhelmed. Also, I would expect/need contextual stuff, not just silos with apples and pies everywhere on the same site.

Depends on the budget. Would expect low quality for $1 per link PBN blasts but certainly something pretty good for $100+ per link.

Yep obviously depends on your budget,cause there may be different metrics blogs used for posting and its more about getting quality blogs,more over you can expect DA/PA 15+ min on a low quality sites too,if you choose to order for any packages make sure you are checking the samples..

With guest posts though, a pretty good indicator is traffic. Check the site in Semrush, see what it ranks for. If there's no traffic, it's mostly just better looking PBN. 90%+ guest posts here on BHW are just better looking PBNs. And by "better looking" I mean using some magazine theme.

If you have no idea what you are doing, then yes, you might get fooled by that. In such a case, it's easier to get back to flipping burgers. Also, read what I wrote again, there's the part with "see what it ranks for". You can't mask that with bots.

flipping burgers is not bad, those people are making $9/hour. lot of IM work days and months on projects without making any profit.

Precisely. "Flipping burgers" is often mistook for something offensive here (and to some extent it is), but those guys still make more money than 99%+ people on this forum.

It's sad that people expect miracles from little money. You can have a job flipping burgers and learn / do seo etc as a side income.

There's hundreds of PBN link sellers, but most are just in it for the quick buck, domains and anchors are poor and they don't update the sites etc.

Exactly, and expecting miracles for 1$ links is BS. Dumb thing is, that paying a lot does not guarantee anything. You can buy assumed/verified good and certainly expensive links, but after a while the seller decides to oversell his site or for whatever reason, does not renew his domain. Investment burnt. Or you can write hundreds of emails to blogs asking/begging for guest-posting - takes a lot of negotiations and time.

Why isn't there a site listing blogs that accept guest-posts, showing at the same time metrics and maybe reputation of the site owner?

@cooooookies - I've been here a long time and have spent many thousands of dollars on SEO services, content, graphic design, etc.

Something that I've learned is that you can get much more bang for your buck if you are precise with your orders and expectations.

What I mean by that is:

• Manually doing your homework on keyword competition and difficulty. Unless you have a massive budget and a lot of time, going after those higher comp keywords can be a waste of time.
• Having a game plan for what your SEO plan is going to be BEFORE you start buying packages.

If you know your niche, you know your main competitors, and you know your game plan, you'll have a huge advantage. Understanding silo is a big key in 2018.

Most people just browse the marketplace, look at ranking reports, and click the order button. That's crazy to me. I spend weeks researching my competitors to understand why they have the front spot and what I need to do to beat them.

I know what my anchor %s will look like before I even look at a single package. I decide on link velocity, link sources, exact match %, etc before I ever pay money for a service.

If you go into a project knowing exactly what a site needs to rank, you'll know exactly which SEO services will get you where you need to be.

Just my 2 cents. There are lots of good sellers here, but obviously you need to know what you want before you go searching

I see why people mention you when they need advice regarding guest posting/pbn and sometimes SEO in general.

See, i start doing this recently (checking a site on semrush and see if the traffic is increasing or not, see what it is ranking for. etc) and the results has been awesome!
Some sites have high metrics (DA, PA, TF, CF, RD. bla bla bla) but when you check them on semrush, they have close to zero traffic and some are ranking for their brand name alone.

Unfortunately, you can't check the metrics of PRIVATE B.N sellers.

Don't go with cheapest link building services for tier1. Don't do automated link building for tier1 (if you don't know what you're getting). For tier1 links (PBNs is what i mostly use), i check the following for domains: backlinks profile (referring domains, anchors, links), clean web history (no spam sites), current website unique and natural looking, no more than 20 outgoing links, decent metrics of TF/CF, DA, PA (not that important if everything else is perfect).
