Snapchat And Bluestacks

I was wondering if anybody has been able to use Snapchat on Bluestacks? I tried doing it and I get an error message that says I need a different version of Snapchat or newer updated operating system. I did a little bit of research and some people are saying it was a decision that snapchat decided to make recently.

Or simply your Bluestacks is using an older Android version and Snapchat decided not to support that anymore.
Visiting this site with a browser on Bluestacks will show you the Android version of your Bluestacks installation.

There are plenty of Android emulators nowadays besides Bluestacks: Andyroid, Nox, KoPlayer, Genymotion, MEmu and so on. You can try those too, but if the issue is account related, i guess switching emus won't help much.

Right now I am using Casper insted of snapchat or Try to download an earlier version of snapchat.

This has to do with the Google service "SafetyNet" also.

I managed to run Snapchat (current release) under another Emulator, but with Linux instead of Windows.

And please remember to switch off all "root" tools, especially during the registration or first login.
