i already know about this since months ago. i also know the guy bitfinex'ed and let me tell you one thing. he's a crypto trader. he believes Tether is a scam, bitfinex is a scam, and charlie lee was involved in inside trading. I read all his posts in medium. despite all these, he's still trading crypto. I actually asked him whether i should short BTC/USD in futures and he couldnt give me an answer because he himself still believe in future of cryptocurrencies despite all his findings.
I will say it just like i've said it over and over again. will cryptocurrency bubble come to an end? quite possibly. but why does it matter if you have invested in this game for a long time and you gradually cash out your position? i made 10x of my investment last month with raiblocks and i withdrawn 30% of what I earned there. I also made a lot from XRP and again i withdrawn some of my profit. that alone already tells you that the money that I've made from two positions are already much more than what I've earned from forex or even stocks. and I do trade BOTH forex and stocks beside crypto. I also made 4x of my investment in INS (i sold out all of my positions at 15 january) and i converted all that to fiat
if one day the whole crypto world come crashing to literally zero, i'd still have made quite handsome amount of money. when I said "withdrawn", i wasnt talking about converting them back to bitcoin, but to real fiat.
If you are just starting out, I cannot give you any advice...but if you have been there for at least 6 months, i can assure you have made quite handsome amount of money. should you quit now in that case? no, let's just keep pushing, and see where it ends. Everybody knows this is like gambling but with much higher chance of winning (compared to going to casinos where you almost end up losing in the end).
so just take it easy and let people do whatever they want with their money. everybody knows it's a high risk investment. chill out. if someone asks me whether he should invest in SEO or in real-life restaurant, you know what? i'd tell the guy to start a real restaurant because SEO is a stupid unstable business. but if I say the same thing in BHW, I would get bashed. that's why i wont say everybody should stop doing SEO, even though in business sense, restaurant is much more stable.
basically, treat cryptocurrency trading as high risk investment where you should only put money you can afford to lose. once you make good profit, you cash out some of your profit to fiat. do that consistently and don't expect too much. as simple as that.
people keep saying BTC is a bubble. well, it is. but that's exactly why I'm in the business. if it's not a bubble, i wont be able to make a lot of money. let's say you turn $2K to $4K in crypto. what you need to do is withdraw half of what you have to fiat and trade the rest of the $2K. actually in psychological sense, that alone is much safer than stock trading. because in stock, it takes awhile before you earn 100% ROI, and thus you will have constant fear of losing money.
