RaiBlocks (XRB)?

But recently I saw a post in reddit expressing some concerns about it. The reddit post claims that RaiBlocks has some core issues or something, thus it always have node sync problems. That's why exchanges always had to suspend withdrawal. BUT according to XRB's group, they've fixed the node issue, however KuCoin and BitGrail are still trying to cooperate with the developer to fix the withdrawal issue now. Well, it may or may not be the truth so it is up to you to decide.

Then, in some crypto discussions, someone questioned about RaiBlocks' mythical price surge. Because most of the trading is done in BitGrail and it was a relatively small exchange, and so the concern is how can XRB go from a few dollars to $30+ within such a short amount of time back then.

Now don't get me wrong... I'm not throwing dirt on this coin (this coin is in my crypto portfolio). I love its block lattice concept and all, but one should also heed negative or concerns about it.

I'm still waiting for it to be listed in Binance and I'm gonna sell some and park the profits in IOTA.

Why IOTA? Because they have big plans for this year (check their roadmap) and they already have partnerships with BOSCH and other companies. Not sure about RaiBlocks though, but will still keep a sum of it and HODL.

Just my 0.000001 bitco.... I mean 0.000002 bitcoin.

I have heard about raiblocks but never knew it ran on tangle. About the price surge mystery- what if a few people bought a LOT of coins? wont that cause the price surge? or is it not possible to get so many from one exchange?

Thanks for the heads up on iota. i love the community around this coin.
Also what do u think of syscoin? have you ever looked into it?
MimbleWimble

Not exactly an alternative.. but a game changer
thanks. ill look into it. funny name tho lol. sounds like something a 3year old would say :)

had an interesting 15mins reading up on dag and tangle. amazing potential. makes blockchain seem old in comparison lol
anyways my question is dag seems similar to atmomic swaps?? what are the differences? i did a search on google but theres no comparison of the two

if anyone also wants to do some reading into this i just found another one- Dymaxion used by burst coin.

Not only Tangle/hasgraph, but blockchain itself has alternatives. I only know of one project that is using this, since they developed it, but it uses dual chains(child chains) to scale the speed and security of the main chain(parent chain). In ways it is similar to ethereum, but it solves the scalability issues by using dual chains. So imagine a mold of hashgraph and ethereum. So the more child chains on the main chain, the faster the main chain becomes. It is a platform, and custom ledger blockchain, so not only is the speed infinite, but you can build ICO's off of it, purely customized to the projects' needs.

Understandably, the team does not go into depth about the specific tech, because they plan on being a first mover. Obviously things will be open source once released, the tech will be copied, but they want to most likely keep it under-wraps until everything is setup for them. If you search Waltonchain child chains you will be able to read more about it. https://www.wtcwaltonnews.com/category/news/ - this has a snippet of the possibilities of scaling child chains. Also read the "All in one" thread on their reddit. Most bullish project of 2018 along with Qash, Loopring, Quantstamp, Wanchain, and titanium. Those are my epic shill picks haha hell yeah. Lambo, moon walker, live money very rich

I also have positions in IOTA. they should fly to the moon when the trinity wallet comes out. that being said, I do think IOTA has issues with the wallet. the whole rebroadcast/promote thing is a mess. hopefully the trinity wallet will fix it
