I see people complain about this forum occasionally. e.g.

"This forums dead"
"BHW not what it used to be"
"Is this just a cyrpto forum now?"

Blah, blah... fucking.. blah.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, only thing is, I don't often see people try and make a positive change to the perceived situation.

This is my attempt to remedy this:

Once a month, I will post something that I think the members of this forum will find helpful & valuable. And I'll do this for a year.

There are some baked in problems with this:

  1. I run a business, have a baby daughter a lovely wife, three dogs and two guinea pigs. Free time is precious.
  2. While I understand business, both growing and established - my understanding of IM could be described as murky. This means that my posts on business mentality and business basics will be wonderful, but towards the end of the year I will have to actively go out and learn something.
The first post will be up next week!

I'm watching you! :D Hopefully I can squeeze lots of things out of your threads :D

Why do I get the impression this is your alt account...

There's one member on here who is in the middle of doing the exact same thing. But he's a bonafide piece of shit. I can't for the life of me remember his username.

hmm, he probably changed his username.. :D

I feel like I'm missing a joke.

I wasn’t referring to the fact that @Sherb is doing something similar - although that’s interesting.

I meant more the fact that I went from never seeing you before (from memory) to you being everywhere.

Your premium also seemed to expire and it looks like you chose JrVip instead this time and are now posting/ planning to post some threads... if you catch my drift.

Just a bunch of dots waiting to be connected I guess.

Hi,

Happy to shed some light and connect the dots.

So, I signed up for my account in early 2016 because I wanted to earn some money online as a hobby. The problem was I had a bunch of hobbies (Photography & Flying being the main ones)- I didn't really treat the forum with the respect it deserved and stopped posting pretty quickly after that.

A little later on in that year my father passed away, meaning our family and family run business was turned upside down and inside out, after a turbulent handful of months I had to take the reigns of the family practice with my mother.

Didn't have the time for the hobbies any longer, so they got put to one side. At the end of the year, my wife and I found out we were expecting! Which added a fun twist to our lives.

Fast forward slightly, I found myself wanting to start another business outside of our firm, put together some investment money and an early draft plan, then turned to the forum and posted in HAF section looking for a VA as I didn't have the time to do a lot of the repetitive stuff. Nor did I have the knowledge to use bots and such to speed up the process.

After posting there, I stuck around for a bit - found myself drawn to the culture here and, more importantly, found that even though my IM knowledge is less than weak - my knowledge of business was something that seemed valuable. Also, I've been looking for a proper hobby.

With regards to the Jr. VIP/ Premium membership issue. That was simply a mistake on my part as I bought it a few days ago, thinking it could be transferred to Jr. VIP when I got there. I was wrong and admin kindly looked after me.

I don't intend to post anything to the Marketplace. It was more about donating to the forum and, you know... Jr. VIP is secret code for the 12inch and over club. Right?

Does that clear it up?
