Do you need a registered business to do dropshipping?

Well i had some ideas pop up onto my head and i want to test them out.

I want to try dropshipping with my methods, but i was wondering if i need a registered business for that? Most payment processors ask you for your business information so yeah.

I'm just asking because i want to test my methods first, i don't want to open a business and then see my method fail.

Test with PayPal in the beginning and if it\s worthed register a company

PP business as an individual doesn't ask much but yeah, If you are starting to make money you will a business for taxes.

You didn't mention what country you're from.

If you're from the USA then you need a sales tax certification/vendor's license from your state.
Otherwise, you can't sell to people in your state because you're not allowed to collect and report sales tax without it.

Probably not a big deal if you're just doing some testing though.

Yes, many payment processors will want business information though, EIN and so on.

If your just starting out, forget it, but if you manage to make hundreds consistently, then yes, best way to legitimately reduce your taxes after all.

The worst of all is that my country doesn't even support PayPal. I just want to test it somehow if people will order with my traffic.

Is there any way to track when people click the "checkout" button, but when they have to pay i can put something like "This service is not available right now" or somethign?

At the beginning if you're just opening shop but if you start to expand and you're making quite a bit of profit I would recommend expanding to a real business, though there are people that have big dropshipping shops with no official business.

It's not necessary to register business at first! But it does need later when you scaled it up to ~10-20k/m in rev

Guys, do you even read my replies? haha

In my country, nothing is supported except 2Checkout, so i don't know if i should use that or try to find another solution.
