hello
i try to dropship from amazon to ebay, but every product i found has a lot of listings at ebay!
its seems like half of the world doing dropshipping from amazon.
maybe anyone know method to find items with no competition?

Its a numbers game you do not need to find "items no one else is selling" its the complete opposite, if those items are already selling thats something good...

Just list 10x faster than everybody the same items. Use software to automate

dropship from amazon to ebay is not worth it because Many Amazon sellers are dropshipping from other Chinese sites.

This literally makes no sense. I dont know if you are coming from a "theory craft" approach where "theoritically" this seems SOUND.

But I have israelli friends that DOMINATE eBay US using Amazon as their supplier like... There are software Israelli based only for doing eBay US dropshipping using Amazon... I could say the names, but Im new to BHW and im not sure if this would be considered propaganda.

PS: And YEAH OF COURSE Amazon item are Dropship from China, lots indeed. But who cares, these people form Israel im telling are succesfully monetizing this way.

Im not saying they do 10$ per item. They may do 1$ - 5$ as an average. But you get the idea, IT IS possible

If you had the golden egg like that, would you share it with anyone else?

To be honest its even hard to say "I find something that no one else is selling but I WILL SELL IT and NO ONE ELSE WILL SELL IT"

Because of this -> If item sells on eBay then it sells on Amazon if it sell on Amazon it will become a "#1 Best Seller / Amazon Choice" and guess who lists "#1 Best Seller / Amazon Choice" . Thats correct! eBay sellers!

So the cycle will repeat... And the amount of effort it could take you to find "This golden egg" (if we dont really know how to do it) could take a potentially big amount of time compared to just listing ALREADY "#1 Best Seller / Amazon Choice" and this is why it is a numbers game. Where it doesnt matter "You get a 7/10 on QUALITY and a 10/10 on QUANTITY"

So its not that bad of a ratio. Hope it makes sense what I just wrote, cause im 100% confident its sound and hope it could help the thread :)

its competitive, yes, there is still money to be made... iy you list fast and have a good ebay account with feedbacks and selling history ...you can still make money...
and i think Amazon is the best place to outsource item to sell them on ebay...especially if you choose prime items...

I'll take "Things drop ship system or software seller won't tell you for $300, Alex".

I have been inside a mulit million $ drop ship operation. They use proprietary software that they had made for $400K. So it COULD be done, but any random person who tries to do this buy buying a $10/month software and trying to compete against that is not going to fare well in the long run.

I think the business model is shifting from Amazon to Ebay model to Manufacturer to eBay and Amazon fairly quickly. That way you get to cut out one middle man and get a price advantage over your competitors.

"Proprietary Software" what do you mean by that?

They legit build a personal software and they exploit it for themselves?

Yes, I mean they pay somebody to build drop ship software for them and they don't share it with anyone else. They got it down to a science so they can make a profit on gross profit of 50 cents on some items. It's crazy. But as I said on the later post, the business model is rapidly shifting from using amazon as a source to making direct deals with manufacturers.

Agree, the first stage for beginners will be Amazon to Ebay, next when you have a good standing ebay account, cut the middlemen, find wholesalers, and maufacturers, ....but inside US..

Sound advice, the only thing im curious about or "lazy" I would say is..

Lets say you sell 20 of those a day. How would you deliver all of them? 1 by 1 to different addresses going to UPS/USPS everytime?

Also, you would have to choose only a couple items to bulk buy them and hope they do well if they dont you are held with inventory and you would be losing money... So yeah I see more risk.

Honestly I know of a couple softwares open to public that do that already. Honestly I dont know if I can post the names in here or if its prohibitted (considered marketing or smt).

But theres 3 -> 1 Israelli, 1 Canadian, 1 European (Dont know exact country) they auto-list the items with proper parameters and also auto-list them, auto-order them, auto tracking #.

Only thing you missing is the Customer Service since you cant automate that "per say" when you get a real problem with a return or smt like that.

I'm talking about going way way way beyond that. Let's just leave it at that.

Lol this has me legit wondering since I consider myself with vast knowledge on the topic.

Im super intrigued LOL. But okay ill have to hold back!

I'm predicting that direct manufacturer/fullfillment from within US model is going to make the Amazon/eBay dropship model unprofitable for most niches in a few years. Both eBay and Amazon are heading toward creating a massive fullfillment business.

I do some dropship fullfillment business for customers who have B&M stores that carry my merchandise. I charge my dropship customers somewhere in the range of $2 extra to dropship a $100 item and my prices are competitive with what small sellers on Amazon is sourcing the product from wholesellers. They can cut out Amazon and their 15-20% fees. And this is just for some select best sellers; I carry 8000 SKUs and am in the process of expanding it to 20,000+ SKUs. You're going to see similar things happen in many sectors. I think the making good money by just arbitraging between sites by running software is going to become a LOT harder if not almost impossible in a few years.

IMHO it is not the speed of listing, your price need to be competitive too. I know few people that do such business. They operate on a very low margin but high volume. Cost of your automation software matters as well. Last time I checked, segemai-retail is one of the good such service out there.
