You should check out the reviews made on the particular service. Marketplace is full of reputed sellers so there is no way to get scammed even if you have any trouble with your order you can write here shitlist

• Read the marketplace rules (the sticky post on top of marketplace section) on how to avoid from being scammed.
• Please know what you are doing. When you mentioned newbie, what kind of "newbie" exactly? What I mean if if you don't know how to perform keyword research properly etc, then none of the link building package here in this forum will work for you.

Since seller in marketplace need to be active and paid for at least Jr VIP + Thread fees in order to get their thread posted, the chance for scamming is minimal already!
But, be sure you check some latest replies for reviews before ordering, that way you can be sure the current state of seller (inactive, ignoring, or positive, ...)

Also... Ive been reading those shitlist posts and seems like a solid way to confirm if something smells bad... Lol.
