i seen in a thread some guy was making 10 or 20 of his own web 2.0s for his sites ot pages i dont know. just simple wordpress cheap blogs with spun articles on them. if i make 10 web 2.0s like this for one of my pages, what can i expect from it? my keywords are way low monthly searches. and how would i go about linking them. and how is it possible to rank a keyword #1 manually like this without buying SEO

The best thing to do would be to just dive straight into it and don't ask questions. Learn from what happens, and scale!

No way you can rank with spun web 2, also low monthly search is not correlated to low competition.

The best you can do regarding this is building a web2 network like a PBN, with unique content and quality T2.

Quality links will help, however, quality will be way better if you add image and use unique, original and hand-written content. Spun content web 2.0s are waste of time.

I had 10 blogspot sites ranking in top 5 position on google,And i linked those site to my money site which was ranking on the first page of google.. Now the money site has slipped away from the first page to third in just 2 weeks.. I think google knows you are building backlinks manually :(

web 2.0 are not wordpress blogs that you self host. What you are talking about is a PBN. What you want to do is register to free blogging sites such as a free wordpress blog, blogger, hubspot, etc. google "what is web 2.0" and you will find the target sites. Then you sign up avoiding footprints over different sites (aka dont drop information such as an email that repeats on different pages!). On those sites you write an article and drop your link to your site there. My advice, do it by hand and avoid spun crap.

Second stage is to get those properties indexed. Im having some troubles myself in this stage - build T2 backlinks to those properties should do the trick tho.

Obviously, 10 links all from the same web2 platform, a platform owned by Google by the way, is not only about doing the work manually, is about doing the things in a legit manner, if you do manually the same thing a bot will do you will be caught.

I KNOW WEB 2.0s .. yea, my mistake is leaving footprint and as said by @virtualbyron i did links from 10 same platforms.. what a waste of backlinks! I am a beginner and i learned a lesson! :D

ive had guys telling me me they have better results making their own backlinks rather than buying them, what are they doing
I start with manual, niche relevant blog comments, while my fresh web2s age a bit. Then I start peppering those in, with some expired web2s. Anywhere from 3-40 per post.
I use some spun content, some original content, some plr, some expired copyright old stuff(works in my niche).
I consider that my bread n butter links, sort of warming up my posts for more powerful links.

They are probably building solid posts on platforms like behance, quora, yahoo answers, wordpress and others with good content that helps users (so it's not removed for spam) and leaving a link.
