It's potentially a problem depending on what you're doing with the articles. It's also questionably legal. Is it practical/profitable? Potentially. It depends on what you do with it.

Possibly. It depends on whose content you're reusing, whether they notice, whether they care, and whether they know how to file abuse reports.

Can people find my hosting company through my website?

You can figure out who to send an abuse report to by looking up the WHOIS. Even with domain privacy, there are parties you can contact. If you have offshore hosting, they might ignore abuse reports. Although you could still potentially be directly sued / compelled to take down the content if you are within a relevant jurisdiction.

there are free and reprint article sites which allow you to copy articles for free. Better go with them than copying content someone has paid for.

Legal problems for copying text? Unless you copy something from a big corporation like Apple, hell dude, you won't get anything more than a DMCA or cease&desist.

Probably okay if you refer to the source, but otherwise there's a big chance you get DMCA takedown notices and need to remove the content in X amount of days or your hosting account gets suspended.

Everyone's opinion on this: we have a blog, when "reprinting" another article on our blog, we say something like "According to X, recent stats indicate...". With "X", we name the source and actually make a url link to their article. What's the SEO impact here? On copyright issue, we are quoting and giving credit to our source, and we have never had a notice of any kind. We quote about 20 different sources routinely.

If you quote your sources and give credit, usually it's not a problem.

If it's content for your money site, better make sure it's original content.

Google wont rank you lower in terms of SEO, but the original content owners can slap a dmca takedown on your site, making google delist you.

Aside from the fact that having a duplicate content can make your website suffer in rankings. It can be a problem especially if you are violating copyrights. If the owner chooses to take action against it, your website might be taken down.
