Some stunningly honest admissions by Zuckerberg. What many here on BHW including myself have been saying of FB for years now (commercial intent lowers page reach, etc).

Page reach will drop a further 80% now. Yes, you read that right.

Ad prices will skyrocket like you've never seen before. To reach anyone's timeline you'll be paying 4X or more.

Personally, not related to IM, the part I like the most is where Zuckerberg admits Facebook is destroying society. I agree.

That's probably part of his personal motivation for sure.

For us what matters is the CEO of FB has confirmed what we've been saying here for years. Page reach is lowered on purpose to increase ad prices.

FB pages died for me like 2 or 3 years ago. The reach lowered overnight and it was obvious it was a algorithm change.

Now it's not only official, but the guy who made FB admits it's bad for society. Well no shit Sherlock. Just a look at the comments under news and politics and you get cancer.

I guess Facebook is moving towards its gradual, well-lived end. This is just one of the many annoyances that Facebook has. Being a page owner myself, I am looking towards moving away from it. I also have a problem with it tracking everything I say. I have used the words Excel, Book, Bitcoin etc on chat on either messenger or Whatsapp and after using Facebook for a while after that, the ads have also changed to Excel ads or Book shop ads or Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency ads which is annoying. On top of that banning side (or "fake") profiles, already restricting page reach, having a shitty review system, no live support etc already has annoyed many. It's only a matter of time now.

For now, the only thing keeping me on Facebook is my friends using it and Facebook being the only way I can contact some of them.

Well, he obviously was forced to make this decision. Another fact is that a lot of publishers and a lot of people who invested on facebook page will get a hard time getting back their ROI, there will be a huge drop on reach but i don't think it would be 80% and all of these is a big propaganda to keep increasing ads price, MARK SUCKDICKEBERG you filthy animal!!

As they change their algorithm there willl be a lot of new ways to generate income from facebook just rest assured everything would be settled.

Now I feel China is right to ban Facebook coming in , all the while Mark of FB wanna go in China. There is a BIG Market for tech companies if I get it right FB cannot access in China , but most traveler if need to access have to use VPN whatever...I remember China folks don't use FB since don't available there , next China themselves have their own popular local social networks .

im working with a strategy on facebook and not giving up when shit comes to me (and from 2012 till now , i've lost over 80M fans 70% usa )
so what ?

now i make 70-150k new fans per day Zuck can decrease reach even further my earnings will drop for some days till i catch up with more fans and my earnings will get higher than now.....

What you really think a 100k page will make you a bank ?
think again nowadays you need to be big on facebook to catch up with their latest updates

nah i did an experiment the last 2 months of 2017
i putted aside all my pages and created a new one that new one i shared to my pages only till it reaches 10k then i stopped sharing it on my pages

you know how many fans that particular page is now ?
73 days have passed and the page is 220k with 70% usa
but wait !
thanks to that page i've grown 3 other pages (those 3 other pages i didnt share on my other pages only on the test page )
each of those 3 pages is 50k now
so i created again a network of
4 pages
total 370k fans 70% usa

NOT A SINGLE PENNY SPENT !

so stop with that nonsense if u suck at facebook move on less competition for us otherwise be a man and grow some balls focus on working and not shittalking facebook updates !

Is the support., disable people account never give at least 2nd chance. Just because they know themselves who care about.u , one user get disable forever is noting lose to us. It'll be interesting to revisit this after they implement the -80% reach filter for pages.
