I just started my pinterest account. First thing for me, is to build up my own board and repin others' posts on my board. Hope it will help me to gain some exposure.

After recent (no so recent already) updates growing followers is pretty hard, especially with old good method - mass follow/unfollow. I think pinterest is going to transform into search engine and number of followers will be less and less important factor in ranking pins.

I do agree with your points.
But, I found something interesting. People always repin photos in my personal Pinterest account. However, even I more actively repined and pined pictures in my business-relavant account, people do not engage with the boards in this account.
