Lucid Dreams are hardcore but I never get it unless I use 4+1 WBTB method which is very annoying.

Now I think of it they can be used so you think more about your business and plan more instead of planning it in the day.

Its like ultimate time saver. You can literally do your job at night!

I prefer WILD method but it never works without WBTB.

Exactly what I wanted to use it for, but I can't actually do it hahaha.

Probably it's time for me to practice it again.

Finally, a lounge thread on a topic I'm interested in.

That's my problem with the WILD method as well. I can do it 100% of the time with WBTB, but if I try it right before going to sleep for the first time at night, I have trouble with it. The reason it's easier to use the WILD method when you go back to bed is because you're in the hypnopompic state of the sleep cycle (i.e., you're half-awake after waking up). It's like when you wake up from a dream, go back to sleep, and continue where you left off in the dream.

What helps when using the WILD method before going to sleep is to take a couple of hours to relax before bed. Wild before bed also works better for me when I'm not stressed out or worrying about anything.

I don't know how long you've been doing it, but once you do it long enough, the majority of your dreams will be, at the very least, semi-lucid. For example, I usually have some awareness that my dreams are dreams most nights. However, I can't control the dream environment the same way as I can should I intentionally have a full-on lucid dream.

Lucid dreams can be used to think things over, but I prefer them to relieve stress . After all, nothing relieves stress like causing mischief and mayhem with no consequences.

sure WBTB are easy but for me they are very low quality and kick me out of dream quickly. + It's just extremaly uncomfortable to shorten your sleep just for some Lucid Dream. When I wake up i am ready for the day and motivated, I dont want to do WBTB.

some say that WILD won't work for most people simply because REM phase is in 1-5hr since falling asleep so its impossible unless you try to not move for 1-5h.

And I cant really lie that long on my shoulders, however while I am on my back i get my body paralyzed, but I dont get sleep paralysis nor I enter the dream. Back position is just too unusual for me. I never slept this way.

Anyway would be nice to enter WILD without WBTB

I've had a ton of lucid dreams over the past year or two (at least 40 - 50) and I never used the WILD technique. Reality checks are the easiest and fastest way to get it done - what I do is pinch my nose and see if I can breathe through it throughout the day, and especially when something unusual or out of the ordinary happens. Then, you start doing it in your dreams whenever you notice something is off, and immediately you realize you're in a dream, since you can breathe through your pinched nose, which you obviously can't do in normal waking life.

Inducing these LD are pretty easy and straightforward to do, however actually staying lucid or asleep is pretty difficult once you're lucid. Everything is pretty much identical to real life in a vivid lucid dream, and it's hard to stay calm in that dream environment. Out of all the LD i've had, probably once or twice I've been able to actually interact with the dream for more than 30 seconds or so.

Yeah, same for me. I have problems sleeping as it is, so when I try a direct WILD, I have to lie down on my back for about 2 hours before it works. Trying to do it from other sleeping positions has never worked for me. However, I think the reason lying on your back works better is precisely because it's uncomfortable. After all, the whole point of the WILD method is to keep your mind awake and trick your body into sleeping, and what better way to do that to lie down in an uncomfortable position and not move for several hours?

There's also that MILD method, but it only works when I think about lucid dreaming all day.

i dont know about Lucid Dreaming but isnt a dream out of our hands(we cannot control it because we get it when we are sleeping). How can one force oneself to dream about a particular thing?

That's the whole point. Imagine the potential you could have if you can control your dream, or just at least knowing that you're dreaming. There are techniques that can help you realize that you're in a dream, although I've tried and failed, haha.

WBTB (4+1) is nearly fool proof. its not comfortable method to repeat everyday it brough me good effects 50% of the times I tried it

All I keep dreaming about is crazy shit. Could somebody please link me to the said methods/sources you're all talking about.

Thanks

I see. Probably I should try it again and see. It's a must if you wanna excel faster in business where you need you have new ideas and a good plan. These require time and thinking :D

One question for anyone who is able to do it already, is the time in the dream faster/slower or just the same in real life? I'm just curious, hahahaha. If it's faster or the same, it's fine. If it's slower, you have even more time to think (more like your brain works faster), that's perfect!

To work? No no no.. I use my lucid dreams to fly around my city.. literally fly like super man, hang out with Conor McGregor and pretty much have a good time, I do enough work when I'm awake!

Love lucid dreaming, have never tried to intentionally bring it on though so this thread is quite interesting.

I've had this type of lucid dreaming when my brain solves problems accidentally, and only when I get so obsessed with something that it ends up consuming most of my time during longer periods. I was studying astronomy for two weeks straight once (all the math problems that come with it too) and during that period I had lucid dreams with supernovas and shit.

I personally believe that dreams are a method our subconscious mind uses in order to communicate with the universal consciousness. There are countless people throughout history who are some of the greatest minds known to man who have used lucid dreaming and other such methods in order to get their ideas. Many dreams have lead to the greatest ideas and inventions in history. It was rumored that it was a common method to sit in a chair with metal ball bearings in ones hand and a metal bowl below so that when one fell asleep the clanging would instantly wake them. This allows them to stay in that lucid state in order to access their ideas and true genius. As with anything in life it requires practice in order to develop the ability to use it as efficiently and easily as possible.

I've used lucid dream for wild sex but then gigantic Oprah arrived and scared me so much
