Not sure if making a thread for this question is best option but I cant PM anyone and waiting for my forum approval on Ascend Viral board.

So I've been lurking/learning heavily past 2 weeks since I found BHW (godsend the ammount of info there is) but I cant figure out what's the issue here.

Im trying to learn instagram growing (white hat method only for now) and instagram marketting overall.

So in 2 days I've gotten from clean page to like 60 followers and 6 posts with about 30-40 likes each and a few non spam comments.
Yesterday I've made a post and it got 140 likes in about 2 hours for some reason. Afterwards my follow got disabled, I did follow/unfollow and 1-2 method so maybe I broke the limit and IG blocked me but the thing is from my PC It's not blocked while on phone it is for about 12 hours now (same internet connection) , on my personal account there are no issues if I access from phone. Niche is cars if that matters.

TL:DR Same account follow is disabled from phone but works on pc, how does this work?

I don't really know. But I've been growing some IG's lately too. And it's occurred the opposite way for me. I'm new to this, myself. But If its the same ip connecting, and the same acc is fine on a different device. My only assumption is they take a look at each Mac Adresses. And if you're blocked on one device, you should not push your luck on the other one anyway:P

I'm just curious how it works on IG, if they do it manually or auto, since it's such a tiny account and already got blocked, also from what I read if this happens this early this account can be considered hindered and should get a new one?

i've read many people getting Blocked and it wasn't drastic. But, once again, I'm new to this. Most wait a few before continuing. The general idea is they 'age' the accounts for so long before they 'warm them up' (slowly get followers etc). I'd like someone with more experience to give you their opinon though. I too have been blocked a few times, and none of my accounts have been banned. Buuut i'm less than 1k followers on all of my accs so far, and they aren't that old. Also, i have no idea how IG works, auto/manual. I too, would like to know. Rather not lose any accounts If i can do it right the first time ykno? :P

i am using 15-20s time delay for follow , it's not getting blocked till i follow 1500 users.
but, when i am using the same time delay to unfollow its getting blocked after unfollowing 25-30 users.

it's reverse for me. account unfollow is disabled on pc , but works on phone.

the following applies to brand new accounts.

as soon as you create the account:
-set profile picture
-write stuff in bio
-follow 10-20 of whoever instagram suggests you
-spend at least 5 minutes on explore

once done - WAIT for 5-10 days.

after that, start following very slowly. no more than 100/day, and interval no shorter than 10 minutes between each follow.
continue like that for the next 2 weeks.

after 2 weeks: increase your following by 100 more users/day, and decrease the interval by 2 minutes (10 - 2 = 8 minutes)
go on for 2 weeks like that

after that, do the same exact same thing (add 100 more users and subtract 2 minutes,so it'll be 300/day @ 6 minutes inbetween)
continue every 2 weeks until you get to 500 (or 600 if ur risky boi) per day, and less than 2 minutes of interval.

if ur using advanced soft like GMT, make sure to keep track of what hashtags give the best ROI. different niches have different return rate, so YMMV.

there's your advice from someone that has been doing it for 2.5 years.

good luck and remember - content always was and always will be king

Good post man, thanks.
Btw another way is buy aged accounts, you will find sellers in marketplace section.

So have you not been shadow banned yet?

not worth it in my opinion. You can only manage as many as you can make, anything more than that is a bulk approach and that results in 20-50% ban rate. Really not worth it imo

during 10 days you followed 15k people, how to unfollow that massive number

how many likes per day

If these limits are true (500 follow / 100 unfollow) then its obviously designed to stop follow back farming. Following 500 per day and unfollowing 100 per day is going to create a massive imbalance very quickly.

The alternatives would be increasing followback rates with better targeting methods and follow-up engagement such as liking or commenting after following or sourcing follows that don't require you following them.

Hey guys! I heard that Instagram has changes their algorithm to track bot behaviour in December 2017. Is there any update on how to avoid getting blocked in 2018? I am using a bot automation software and want to know what limits to set for follow/unfollow, like and comment.
Thanks in advance :)

Absolutely no way these are hard limits. I regularly follow up to 500 and unfollow up to 500 every day with few issues.

Something has recently changed as of 2 days ago. I was following and unfollowing somebody every 30 - 40 seconds 24/7 for YEARS. That's just under 1500 per day. As of 2 days ago ALL of my accounts that i've been growing have all been blocked from unfollowing.. never had any issues before. i think the follow/unfollow limits have changed

Unfollowing 1200/day with somewhere around 60-120 seconds between. So far so good *knock on wood*
