DHL billing address & Shipping address (UK)

Hi all

I have a question regarding DHL billing address & Shipping address (UK), i have a storage unit to which my dhl shipment packages arrive the receptionist signs for the packages/boxes hence the storage units address is used as the shipping address, Recently i received a call from the receptionists who was not too pleased stating DHL sent invoices via the post to the storage units address with my name on them and stated the storage unit Cannot be used as a billing address (which is understandable since i did not intend for this to occur since when i paid the customs charges i used the address registered to my bank card)

My question is how do i prevent this from happening in the future? How can i make sure the storage unit does not recieve any invoices? Is there a way with DHL i can receive the invoices to another address?

Hi, i did contact DHL the customer service representative told me DHL only bills the invoice to the shipping address the items are address too which in this case is a storage unit, but i had 4 packages coming to the storage unit and DHL called me regarding one package stating they require a alternative billing address since they do not accept a storage unit as a billing address for invoices, this info i told the DHL customer service adviser on the phone but she stated this is not the case.... (confusing i know).

You just need to declare a shipping address and separate billing/invoice address to the supplier.

If you are talking about the Invoice from DHL then you should be able to sort it out online.

Yes the DHL invoice, i want them to arrive at a separate address rather than the storage unit, i have checked the link, I have to sign up with DHL and provide compny details they dont let you register If you dont have a company (hope im wrong), surely there must be a way i can have DHL send me invoices to a alternative address rather than the storage unit.

You should be able to provide them with separate delivery and invoice addresses, if you have an account then contact their customer service department.
