6 years, 3 failures, my journey to $300 per day.

Excellent tips man, thanks A LOT for sharing this. Not only is your strategy intelligent, it makes total sense. Posts like this one make this forum invaluable

Good luck bro !

I must have like 30 failures in the past few years haha :D

My advice - never buy a service for your backlinks. Manual outreach is the best way to do it.

I typically spend anywhere from $30 - $150 for my links. My links come with a yearly renewal cost as well.

That place is a cesspool of garbage. Even Executive Jr. VIPs are selling it. When asked why their links didn't work, they undersell it completely differently than they do on the BST.

Thanks for setting things straight. :)

I was trying to help out but since experience is king, perhaps it's better to give correct advice than just the helpful kind.

The question is WHERE do you grab these links...

Buying backlinks keeps getting scarier the smarter google gets. After working on one of my affiliate sites for 2 years, I would be devastated if I purchased some type of spammy links. Even looking through the blackhatworld forums, how do you really know what links are 100% legit?

Anyways, fantastic read... congrats on your $300 / month revenue. Your post made me create an account just so I could reply to you.

Bro! He mentioned that $300/day not month. Lol....

It's always inspiring to read failure stories which ended up with positive turn...Good luck OP!

I've had my failures and partial success, but Although I'm still one the partial success side of it, I know it won't be long before I can give my story on my experience on internet marketing. Thanks, OP! I built my site based on of the rank and rent method but also gave thought to lead generation and I think that's where I'm going to take my site. Once again, thanks for the valuable information.

Without revealing too much details, could you tell us all how to find a page or homepage that has high PA without a lot of manual work of searching google and checking every page on each site, and tips on how to approach the site owner and ask for a link? And, would the next algo update make you go for more links or do you think the 12 links you have will last you for life? And, do these links cost a lot?

Thanks man, cheers on your success at last.

Edit: Bonus Question. Is still finding high cpc keywords on adsense done on adwords or do you have a better method for that which you can share?

Nice read.

What I instantly found out is that you don't look for the long term, you're too desperate and give up if you don't see results in the short term. My advie is to, if your income allows, look for the long term and don't give up on the first fail.

I wrote this post because if I was to read it 5 years ago I might have made some different decisions. I hope it helps someone. Good luck!

Yeah, it might've helped; but you won't let me lie: experience is priceless, no text can give it to you.

Thanks for the info OP! 300 per day is not bad at all

I love it when you said BUY LINKS BUY LINKS - I swear I can't as well exaggerate enough how important this could be . It's Nice reading your story dave.
Really Nice. :)

You can do it again Dave!

How you implement link on homepage?
I really dont understand how naturaly we can do that?

Thanks

Ps. Are you sending links to homepage only? What if your money article is inner page, how you will place link from homepage ?

Hello there good sir,
Can you tell me how you calculate how much is the link worth for you to pay

There is no perfect science to this. If the domain authority is around 30ish I'll start at about $30. If it's in the 40s I'll start around $60. 50s and I'll jump up to $150. Just got to negotiate with the site owner.

Exactly. I'd hate to say it because BHW needs to make money, but every single link building service is garbage in my opinion. All it takes is one Google employee to buy the service and everyone else is toast. So dumb. One thing you'll notice on a lot of those posts is everyone thanking the marketplace seller for "fast service" or "I bought 10 links and the seller provider 20!! OMG! Great service!". If you ask questions about the actual links, they won't answer.

Good luck man! Make sure you're FTC compliant if you go the lead gen route. Can get dicey.

See my earlier post on page 1. It takes work, but it's really not that bad. What I did was go to my 9 - 5 job, workout after work, go straight from gym to coffee shop, work for 1-2 hours on my links. I'd do this 1-2 days a week for about 2 months and that's all I needed. When you approach the site just let the money do the talking. I don't give a shit about algo updates. Just build more links. All of my links have exact match keyword anchor text as well. You can never have too many links. Yes, I use AdWords for my keyword research.

Nice read.

Excellent point! My idea with differencegenie.com was a slow, long-term, whitehat authority site. When I didn't see any revenue after 200 posts I completely gave up.

You can do it again Dave!

It's not natural. That's why you're paying the site owner to put it there lol. I build all of my links to my homepage and one other page on my site. A lot of times the one inner page AND my homepage are ranking for the same keyword.

Great read and congratulations on your success. Very inspiring. It’s refreshing to hear that you got a site ranking with just a few links and like you said, it proves quality over quantity wins.

Wow man, awesome post! 1 question please.

Is there any ratio you'd recommend on homepage links vs inner page links, I mean, can you have more links to the inner pages then on Homepage - Does it make the site less trustworthy? Thank you!
