Hi I am kinda new to Dropshipping but I started learning a few weeks ago and I want to start now
but I have a question: what would you do high tick dropshipping or lower ticket ones?

High ticket all the way. The bigger the margin the better. I’m talking about $50+ profit margin per sale

Bigger margin = bigger risk.
Since OP was startimg his dropship busssiness, I recommmemd the lower one.

It’s all in your price strategy and the quality of your store.

There a many times where we have sold products for $70+ while other stores sell them for $20. It’s really about how you package a product and how you set up the product page.

I really don’t understand why the member above said there was a bigger risk. The real risk is in low margin because the margins are razor thin and it’s easy to overspend on Ads if you don’t have a clue what you’re doing. Also would you rather sell 1 product a day with a $50 profit or 20 a day at a $2 profit.

Are you talking about AE or 1688 products here or you use other dropshipping companies?

How is it possible to sell this much and get a sale?

Surely buyers can compare the prices right?

They can, but how many actually do? That's like 1 in 20 people.

I have sold $5 products for $75 while my competitors we selling for $25. It's all about how you can provide value and make your website look legit. My competitors had a shitty website so they were probably struggling to make sales even at $25. Eventually, I'll retarget everyone who didn't buy and offer it for $50. If they still don't buy, I'll give it to them for $25. I play the long game and that's where the profit is.

For testing out the store, is it worth it to spend money on it right away?

How much do you usually spend to setup a site? Do you make it look legit right away?
