Today I want to share about my new investment idea aka the next big thing coin.

I used to share about this DAG technologies via:
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/hashgraph-is-more-powerful-than-blockchain.995168/

And DAG is refer to:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Directed_acyclic_graph

It is quite complex to describe, but DAG technology is quite different compared to blockchain technology.

The advantages of using DAG technology is that it can solve the major problems faced by the blockchain technology such as:

1. Transaction speed.
2. Fees.
3. Scalability.

Majority of the DAG project have fastest speed of transaction per second (TPS). Starting from 1,000 up to 100,000 TPS. Compare to Bitcoin, that can only do 7 TPS. This is why Bitcoin is so slow. And not suitable for our daily life currency.

Trust me DAG coin is the "next big thing" after blockchain technology.

There are some coin / projects that already exist by using this DAG technology.

1. IOTA
2. Raiblocks
3. Byteball
4. Aidos
5. Dagcoin
6. Daglabs
7. Oyster
8. Paragoncoin
9. H.cash
10. Stone
11. Rchain
12. IOTChain

But all of this project are still new, there are many risks and disadvantages (bugs).

For moment, I followed one project called "Stone". Stone is a fork of Raiblocks but with extra flavor called zkSNARKs (Zcash adaptation for better privacy).

Will STONE be successful? I don't know, it could be a scam (90% sure it's a scam, too bad). Because after looking at the thread, the OP already received $100K+ donation from the investor. Even the OP dint have a single working product or code to show!

For now let keep an eye for this DAG technology. I believe more project and coin gonna exits.
And more opportunity to make money will appear.

P / S I used to share info about this DAG / Railblocks technology, and at the time the price of Raiblocks is $2.00+. Few weeks then the price was almost $30! I believe the majority of investors are already aware of this DAG technology. Do I own Raiblocks? Nope. I see many new investor complain about Raiblocks that can't even do 7 TPS due some issue. This technology is still new. Let's wait for a new good DAG project to appear. And you can start throwing money on it.

Great info thanks. Already thrown some money at number 12 on your list yesterday.

I think RaiBlocks has the perfect foundation (Transfers, Fees etc etc) however, I do not like the name for scalability. Not that it can't be successful called Rai, but I would like to see a change (Similar to AntShares to NEO) every time I see the coin I just think RailBlocks in my head. They do have an amazing White Paper though.

Not so much into IOTA, as I think many people are confused between their actual partners and just people showing interest.

I'll have a read up on the others later. Shame about Stone being a scam, I think projects that pick the best aspect from multiple coins will do really well.

It will probably renamed to "Nano" soon

You never shared what makes you big $?
Or did you and I am wrong lol?

From the list, I only interest on Btyeball.
But after looking at the total supply & the price. Jezzz...

Wow, I saw the announcement for stone and thought it looked interesting but us crypto people must be mad if we've given some anonymous user $100k for starting a thread. I'll confess I did think about sending them 10 myself though.

When you say you're waiting for a good new project, is that because you think the ones out now aren't good, or are you just looking for the best possible entry for buying?

Please please please. Do not send any money to that guy.
He is clearly a scammer. No code. No progress update. Just more wallet address for him to receive the donation. What the...

I keep waiting for any new DAG project with better feature to show up.
But still nada for now. If you found one please tell me.

I liked the idea of DAG since reading about IOTA. Hopefully the positive response to DAG leads to some good quality teams developing projects with it. I only considered sending him a few bucks when I thought that no way would he get even $500, somehow a Raiblocks privacy fork is too good to be true without any kind of evidence. 100k shows the times we are in.

And yes, if I ever come across a new DAG project I will post it here.

I don't think that it's too late for Raiblocks/Nano. You may have missed massive gains, but for short term it seems really good. I don't see why it couldn't hit triple digits and go to top 10 anytime soon. Since it's hard to predict the future obviously, I'm looking for short term perspective. Will be happy to know upcoming ICO's it seems like a really great technology indeed.

I've been watching Raiblocks XRB for a while and decided to pull the trigger and buy from BitGrail, then transferred to raiwallet. I wanted to get some before it hit other markets.

Some of the smartest crypto guys I know are saying XRB very well might become one of the most important coins of 2018. I took a look at all the whitepapers and it sounds very good!

You should put Burstcoin in this list. They just release a new tech white paper to use tangle in there blockchain.
"
In a whitepaper titled The Burst Dymaxion and released on December 27th 2017, the PoC Consortium developers introduced an innovative concept to the world. The Dymaxion is a tangle-based lightning network – it implements layers to the Burst network in the form of payment channels. The uniqueness of the Dymaxion concept lies in the fact that each of these payment channels is opened in the form of standalone colored tangles, on top of the Burst blockchain that runs on the Proof-of-Capacity protocol.

Each single of the tangle-based lightning networks distributes “transactional stress” among its own network of participating nodes, allowing for arbitrary scalability. The more nodes participate, the higher the transactional capacity of each of the current active networks becomes – every new user making transactions is increasing the total transactional capacity of the network.

As we keep the Burst blockchain as the backbone of the network, the Proof-of-Capacity protocol is still of crucial importance. The Dymaxion white paper introduces multiples ways to improve it. The PoC2 protocol will make Burst fundamentally more secure. The dynamic transaction fees and block sizes will bring more flexibility. The dynamic node capabilities will make nodes more efficient. And finally, the PoC3 consensus protocol will take over a custodian role in globally distributed redundant storage.

and one more coin that is Xtrabyte (still in testnet).

So, you say Hashgraph can do hundred thousands of transaction per second?

What do you think then for example of OMG (Omise Go). Right now, the valuation is too high for something that hasn't got a product yet.
But they are going to work on Plasma if everything is succesful, and will be able to do millions of transactions per second.

It's a super ambitious project that can as well fail, but if they succeed, 100usd + coin this year at least.

Isnt digibyte a better version of IOTA? IOTA doesnt have a working product but Digibyte has.It only has a high supply but it is cheap so it doesnt matter that much. A lot of top 10 coins right now have a high supply.
IOTA doesnt even have a wallet

Aidos will open in their own exchange in 10th Jan . I joined in their Telegram but have not good feeling with the guy founder , he seem so dictatorial. And he got nothing in his background on Linkedin

Someone in this forum mentioned ,,travelflex (trl),, coin based on DAG. Im not so good in new coins research, so i just share this.

Have you tried to mine the burst coin. Look interesting, it uses disk space instead of CPU/GPU power.

I've been following DAG coins for a while now, thanks to @PinguSpy and here is one that I particularly like.

It's called Flicker Network, flickernetwork.com, and they claim to be fast, free and fully private, which is basically what we have been waiting for.

According to their website the product is finished and the Flicker network will be fully mature from Day 1.
The launch is planned for late April and they started with bounty program this week.

Why they are interesting?
There is no ICO and no donations. Those of you, who have been following other similar projects (Stone etc.) surely know this is a rarity. :-)
They will be distributing the tokens to the public for free and they will only keep 1% for themselves.

In their whitepaper it says that the Flicker Network (FNT) is based on Nano for the DAG part and the privacy part is based on CryptoNote (Monero).

The tokens will be distributed via dedicated official exchange and the source code will be released 6 weeks after the system goes live so someone else can't take the advantage of it and beat them to the market.
The team is not public which makes sense as privacy is the main point of this coin (without privacy we can just use Nano).

In my opinion this can be huge if the product actually does what they claim it does. As they are not taking donations and there is no ICO (free distribution of tokens) I don't really see how this could be a scam, as we have seen with some other similar DAG projects.
But I'm really interested in opinions of other seasoned crypto veterans on this forum. :-)

ps.
I wrote an article on Medium about Flicker network. If you are interested, please check it out (I will also cover other interesting DAG projects there).
