Kickstarter - Got any tricks or suggestions ?

Hi!

I am wondering if you have any tricks to get more people backing a campaign. We are running this campaign for a client of ours: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1622939158/jvl-bracelet-first-ever-customizable-anchor-bracel

We think it's well done with everything from text, video and other content. How would you go about to monetize this. We have found some kickstarter services that blast this to their members and most probably we will use some of those sites.

We think we have huge potential and are wondering if anyone has done a kickstarter before and has a list of backers or any tips for us!

Please, let us know if you would change anything in the campaign also, all feedback is valueable

Good video, well produced. I think the braclet will only appeal to sailors, boater, yachters etc.... I would target that crowd with display ads in audience

That is something we really overlooked but you are right, great tip! We are doing FB ads, trying to find good markets. Anyone got lists that could potentially work for this kind of a project ?

You should target exactly what b1 advised - sailors, boater, yachters, etc.
Make sure to be using the ads manager and not just boosting your post or you'll minizmize your reach and maximize on your cost.
Try looking through the FB forum on BHW for more advice from fellow members.

Write updates when you hit benchmarks to thank your backers, use them to relay new rewards and drive backers to your social networks, also use Press releases.
