You think Ripple is done? think again.

Except banks are not using the XRP token, they are using the Ripple technology. The two are not one and the same. This is what the majority of investors in XRP fail to understand and it is why XRP's value has been inflated beyond all reason. Do you really think banks will use a token to facilitate their $ billions worth of transactions on a daily basis when its value fluctuates even as low as 1% on a daily basis, let alone 30-50% swings in a single day, when instead they can use their own closed-circuit token and still benefit from the advantages offered by Ripple technology? Once people that FOMO'd into this centralized piece of turd in the past couple of months realize this very important fact, this coin is going to take a huge dump on everyone that is still holding their bags faster than you can say "bubble".

Weren't you saying that XRP will replace BTC a few pages ago, even though XRP is not intended to be a p2p currency? You are one of the people I am talking about above. Sorry, not sorry.

Banks probably won't, you're right like I said many times banks and governments will eventually develop their own coins IMO.
But still, XRP goes up when RIPPLES' TECH is being adopted.

And yeah I explained that to him a few pages back, ripple was not intended to replace btc but to be used by big corporations and banks.. but he just doesnt get, so im tired of going back and fourth with those kind of ppl

Sure, short-term you can make money on this turd, just like most of the other "promising" alt coins today. Just don't fool yourself into holding onto this and thinking it will be the biggest thing in crypto, like so many 1 month old investors proudly exclaim.

No one knows buddy. I think it has the highest potential of survival and growth out of most coins out there. But time will tell.
Bottom line is it went up, and will keep going up in the short term. Obviously you need to time your trades...

Apparently Asia like TRX for breakfast, and XRP for late lunch?

Sure, as a technology it has significant potential and value and I can see it sticking around for a long while. The actual token on the other hand and, more specifically, its (current) valuation is a different story.

Oh yeah no question that its hyped. but then again, show me a crypto currency that isnt hyped....

Meanwhile I think crypto in general might be one of the biggest opportunities of our life time if you play smart.

This I wholeheartedly agree with. You don't have to be a crypto maximalist to take advantage of it either. Just be pragmatic.

But then again the founder of ripple which is a very honest guy and iv been following for a while, he doesn't just throw shit out there, said they are partnering with "2 huge companies that are household names"

The only 2 companies that are household names that I know of and are relevant, are Apple and Amazon.
It can't be "Josef's t-shirt company" because Josef isn't a household name.

You have a point with the "currency that ppl know" theory, BUT, amex did partner with ripple so i dont think its a huge deal, and btw I think that ppl that are comfortable with using BTC to pay are also comfortable with ripple, its been all over the place, and if they aren't, amazon will release a short video on ripple...

Besides if ripple is being added to coinbase, everything starts to make sense cuz itll be easier to buy ripple as well and then spend it on amazon
I cant add links yet (newbie) but there a bunch of post saying coinbase will not add ripple, or any other cryptos, for now. Just search "coinbase ripple" i acquired my info from coindesk

Sorry, this won't be some sort of well thought out thesis like observation or reply, I just wanted to drop in and say
Why does this Thread have a weirdo cult-like feel to it?

You Guy's are really funny:rolleyes:

I was thinking the same exact thing. Passion is one thing obsession is another altogether lol

Ripple, on it's way to $10.00!!!

Probably what will see an end to crypto as we now know it. Even the blind fools will have to wake up at sometime, and see they are being mugged off. I'd like to see Macca doing a 25 year stretch.

Will happen but way too soon to think that. When everyone in your neighborhood is talking about cryptocurrency then you should start worrying. There's still a ton of people who have know nothing about crypto.

I traded all my XRP for TRON when it hit above $3. XRP has been trolling me all 2017...

@zionbar Ripple is currently at $2.25 on their own site's charts and dropping heavily by the minute. Curious if you think this is a "crash", or just a correction and a good time to buy in?

EDIT: $2.22.
EDIT: $2.40.
EDIT: $2.30.

I still think it's a buy. The CEO says they're in talks with 3 out the largest 5 payment transactions processors to adopt XRapid. If that's the case, the volume of XRP would really skyrocket. It would be used to settle billions of dollars of cross-border transactions by the world's largest financial institutions.
