He's been delaying the release for a while.. Maybe it's all just bs.

I find that hard to believe.
The guy really tries to develop and protect his product. Perhaps he's just fine tuning or polishing something before releasing it to the public.

Hi Guys,
Starting yesterday, all new buyers in fact get V3, not V2.
I've kept it hush-hush so far, as I'm preparing a formal launch for V3, PLUS an organized mailing to all current users.
Expect an email from me to your paypal address before the end of the week.

I could set it that new buyers still get V2 until everything's ready and I send the emails to everybody - but I see no point in that. Everybody will get everything in a few days, not weeks or months.

Yeah its not a problem waiting, but i was just saying if your giving it to new buyers you should have thought about giving it to people who already supported you by buying your software.

Seems like the release is really delayed. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought v3 was supposed to release on the 1st of September??

I feel lucky that I bought a product that *has* support! That doesn't happen much here in the digital wild! Usually we're told ''no, the free upgrade policy is for minor revisions, NOT a full version upgrade!"

To look at it from the new buyer side, imagine if you'd just bought a script and set it up, then 10 days later you got the 'new' version and had to do a bunch of uploading/tweaking. As much as I'd like to have the new version, it's just good business and proper customer support for the vendor to get the new product to new buyers.
