Today added value to my site and a way to make more money later and added push notifications. I am using OneSignal and it is free. It is one of the most used. This adds value to my property. If I do sell it later on I can add the buyer to the Application that handles the push notifications as an Admin and he can do whatever. I can not give him my account as it is tied into my facebook. Yet as an Admin he can do whatever he wants.

Today added more value. I created the social networking profiles and set up jetpack to autopost to my social networks. Thankfully. I am now looking at this as expect the worst and I may have to sell it type of deal. OFC certain things I will not be able to transfer over. Yet 90 percent of it is a can do. So this is what I am seeing several networks with huge amounts of shared content on them and push notifications should within a year fetch me an extra 500.00 on a sale. Cost is time..

So I am saying WORST case scenario in a year I can sell this 1500.00 minimum being a developed and rich content filled site. IF it is earning maybe just maybe more. If I do push on Social Media who knows maybe just maybe I can push 500.00 a month with it. To me that is not enough for me to keep it yet perfect to sell it as I would easily get 5k from the sale. EASILY. Especially with all the content and social profiles attached to it.

Well today has been a waste. I contacted yesterday the writer as to when the articles will be done as today makes 6 days for 7-350 word articles. To me this does not bode too well as it will take me over a day to prep which means I will not average out my one article a day. So I am not certain this is going to work with this writer. Yet then again if the quality is great than it might be an okay trade off. So I will reserve judgement till I see the articles. I guess I would rather 6 high quality articles a week than 7 or more crap articles a week.

Day 8 waiting on 7 articles. I know a lady here who needs work who if these articles are not perfect for the time it has taken she will write for me for 20.00 a week. I will even teach her a skill in return as she does poetry so having a blog and learning wordpress and how to monetize can help her greatly. It would take her talent and turn it into an income. I can also show her research and how to properly use google and yahoo answer as well as quora for content suggestions. All skills that would not hurt her but help her.

So at work right now chylin waiting for people to pay. Wondering just why it is taking 8 days to write 7 articles. Annnnyyyyway here is hoping they are so good that they earn me millions lol.

Reduce Bounce Rate - This is actually an SEO plugin. It can just about drop your bounces to zero which makes google think that you have great content. Added by me.
Whydowork Adsense - Yet another quality of life plugin. I have used it on nearly all adsense sites and this too was added by provider.

Day 9 waiting on articles. Not sure why it is taking so long. I can not wrap my head around the amount of time it is taking. Even if they are golden articles I do not think this is going to be much good for me with the sheer amount of content I need created. This is a bit disheartening. Guess I am going to have to wait for the articles then judge from there if the quality is worth the time it takes. The price is awesome. Very doable. Yet if I have to wait two weeks I do not see it as being worth it.

10 days into waiting for articles. I guess my expectation of quality articles time frame must be off. I pray they are of quality. This is among one of the longest time frame I have ever waited for articles. Granted in the past the quality of my articles I have purchased have been mainly filler quality content. Nothing insanely good. So I am hoping these are insanely good for the sheer length of time.

My back up writer fell through. My own fault. I may be in more trouble than I realize over the deal. Yet it was very dramatic. As said person was a tenant and I inadvertently got her kicked out. So yeah that will not work. Simple mistake. Lack of communication among management. Not truly my fault but I am the fall guy on this one yet it was not me who did not communicate what was going on. I had to report what was there as I always do. If nothing is told to me that it is different than I do not know anything is different.

BTW has anyone ever noticed that there is about 10 gigs in BHW marketplace that are by different people but use the exact same graphics and sales pitch only difference is the paypal email and support email. EVERYTHING else is exactly the same. Exact same long sales pitch exact same graphics in the sales pitch. Seems like to me that others may have noticed but no one else has said anything. Or maybe it is something so obvious that others did not pay attention to it.

Site is finished and looks great. I can not believe the price I paid for it. To me it was totally worth it now that I see it. For the price I could not ask for better. Took out all the grunt work for me. Wrote a review. Waiting to hear back from my content curator. Excited about that but I am sure it will be a few days down the road. This is going soooooooo slow. Interesting enough I have had 12 visitors today. Lol no I am 200 percent positive it is NOT from google. Social and direct. Really odd too.

Full disclosure I was very vocal about everything and I ended up doing my own research due to it not being to my satisfaction. I blogged everything. When I was not happy I vocalized my displeasure. So this may have been extra incentive. IDK. My word of advice is start a journal vocalize your concerns share your opinions and this way there is a case study and if everything goes right you can log it as being right and can wash rinse repeat. When a service provider sees that you are actively in a journey it can go one of two ways. 1. They refuse to work with you because there work they know is garbage. This has happened with a few writers here. Four writers here have so far refused to work with me here because they knew I was actively documenting a journey and it would be a part of my documentation here.They knew that the work they produced would not stand up to scrutiny so pretty much black balled me from service. Or they can see it as a way to get some extra publicity. Which if they are good they will do there best to get the best kind of traffic word of mouth.

I am going to note I was NOT initially happy with this provider. Communication is key. The end result was something I was very happy with. That is what truly matters. The end result. Always communicate your dissatisfaction. I am going to put this point blank. You pay them. They are your employees. There job is to make you happy with the work they are suppose to provide no matter the cost. If they CAN NOT do that than they have no business selling a service. PERIOD. Never ever ever except work you are not happy with.

Sorry I did not update sooner. Xmas is not a good time for me.

Update: Article writer STILL has not finished the articles but did contact me asking for a 5.00 advance on future articles so he can bump his thread and said he will get right on my articles and apologized for being so late. That was on the 26th.

I Uhm got my first google visitor. Lol. So I checked out the term. I am on the 6th page. The term is an exact name of a product. Oddly ultra competitive as it is not really a popular brand. It gets 100 searches or so a month.

I KNOW it is only 100 searches but it would be nice to have an article dedicated to that product and link my main page out to that page and then link that page back to my main page for the main keyword I am trying to rank for just to be fun. Look if I want to waste my time going after a term that gets 100 searches lol so be it. 100 terms getting 100 searches is 10k searches. VERY VERY easy to do in this niche.

Looking at others doing this same kind of journey has made me modify mine. I see 1500 a month is a VERY reasonable goal for 1 year. NOT where I would like but it is a good goal. With 1500 a month I can hire more writers and grow faster. Which would make my next income goal of 5k a month much much more easier to hit.

Looks like there will be a structural change at my job next year. This means either one of two things. 1. I MAY get fired. or 2. I may get demoted to part time help in which case all I get is free rent. The demotion is the best case scenario and not a bad one as the part time help is on third shift and if this does happen I can work a part time job and probably come out ahead in the long run which means more money to invest. It is where I started out at this organization and I worked in the ghetto at a corner store during the day/night and after I got off I went to work as night security part time where I live. I took second shift manager to learn more than being JUST a brute force kind of guy. To learn finesse. All I get is crying and whining about how I screw everything up. Yet no one wants to take the time to show me right just bitch about the wrong. As night security I had zero problems.

Alright 2 weeks and no articles. At this point I am thinking I am just going to get stalls and no work done. No matter how good they are or the price in which they cost it is just not worth the time it takes to get them. I will not be able to scale nearly fast enough.

I am thinking on making my homepage article a mega article. Complete with a table of contents for fast navigation. A homepage with a table of contents might be better anyway for SEO as Google will create jumppages for my article and can rank for multiple keywords. Now it is on what topic should the mega article be wrote on? Maybe the history of the product? Hmm. It is an item that people have been using for hundreds if not thousands of years. Yet the history of said item would not be focused on buying which means less money in the long run? Confusion. Maybe an article featuring the best manufacturers of said item and this way later on I can give reviews with affiliate link and link off the main page?

It is so confusing trying to do things right and not try to truly game the system for me. This is not what I wanted but I see it to be the best way. Maybe the only long term way.

So while waiting for my articles that are never going to come I decided to make my site a bit faster. My site was yellow for google pagespeed. Not very very good at all. So I ended up switching themes. I went over to Schema which is a very nice theme. It loads stupid fast. With it I was able to take my 2 second load down to 1 second. A couple other tweeks and cloudflare I have it at about .8 second load and almost scoring perfect on desktop (98/100) So at least I have not been totally lazy lol.

A few other SEO tweeks and I installed/configured yoast and it did end up claiming that the articles where not very good for SEO purposes that was on my site. So I am down to paying for work and really doing almost all of it myself. Things look good on the outside but closer examination you see that it really is not all it is cracked up to be. I am not complaining at all as this has all been a learning process for me and I can now create something great.

Thanks but this has been truly an educational journey from me. I have learned to be successful you must be fluid. Sure it is great to have a plan. Yet you may see something better or see a better way. Things do not always work out just like you want. My journey has changed a lot but the principle has been the same.

Contacted yet another article writer here and same old same old. I just do not know. Even with cash in hand they are like either lazy or something else just not sure. Did a claim on paypal for my other article writer. As he is not going to do the work it is glaringly obvious.

I decided to write my own article. I did it. I DID NOT like it. Not one bit at all. Yet I feel i expertly crafted a decent 1900 word article which is shy of the 2500 I was aiming for to be my corner stone article. Still it was more than double the size in which yoast recommended minimum for a cornerstone article. I put in a decent seo table of contents so Google can create some jump links. If anything screw it I will do my own writing and worst case scenario I will hire an editor later on and the editor can edit my content for me which is not a bad thing as google loves updated content.

A lot of the information in the article is VERY hard to get as in this niche google does not like information they only want people selling stuff so the information I got I had to dig through thousands of sites trying to sell and use very very odd keywords that people would not normally use to find the information that I was seeking. I find it soo odd that they claim to not deliberately and manually influence the serps yet I find it odd the top advertisers in this niche is also the top websites in the serps. Sometimes only a couple own the whole page of google which again they where suppose to filter they claim so you do not get that yet on product keywords it seems this is still pretty prevalent.

I have a really really good feeling that this year will be a great year for me. Lots of work. No being a lazy pants and lots and lots of grunt work for sure. Yet I feel that for once in the past couple years of my downward spiral I actually have something to look forward to. I believe this will be the best year in 2 years.
