I got tired of playing with the service provider it was taking too long. So this is what I did. I did my own keyword research and bought the domain. I picked a niche that had not only 10k+ searches yet had many sub niches that got just as many searches. All as equally competitive or less than the keywords he found. So maybe he will throw in some extra articles or something for doing his job who knows. Best of all again with this niche Amazon would work great but would not use that at first.

So This actually changed a lot. As this is a huge buyers niche. Many many many keywords to target I can easily turn this into an authority site. What this will do is save me money. A LOT of money. I can spend money on additional research and articles to help me out. Maybe some specialty SEO. The MAIN keyword is about a 62 out of a 100 ranking difficulty. That is actually not that bad I have tackled niches that where 98 and actually dominated. It is just about worth. IS IT WORTH IT? If I turn this into an Authority site with at least 100 to 200 keywords I can target I can easily spend a whole year building this out. This does not mean SLACK in anyway. This means the exact same amount of work I would put into building out MNS I will turn each keyword into an MNS on my main site using categories.

Also I think that I should go for writing about 10 articles per keyword even though I only need one. Yet GOOGLE loves it when you do more work than necessary lol. Well this showed me I need to have more faith in myself. I CAN do keyword research. Seems I am as good as anyone else at it. Also only I know what I want and what I want to compete with and what I am willing to compete with and on what terms I will do it.

I am proud of myself. It really is amazing how things change at the drop of a dime. It is still a MNS journey but yet my whole game plan has changed based on something I seen while doing my very own research.

I just used my gut and allowed that to lead me on initial keywords which led me to my final conclusion. I have great gut instincts sometimes it has made me a lot of money so here is hoping I can expect the same.

A site in a EXTREMELY similar niche makes 120ish a day from adsense advertisers and receives 9k visitors and 45k pageviews per day. Said domain has about 20k backlinks. ZERO social media presence.

That is a ton of work for 120.00 a day. Yet to be fair 120.00 is more than I am earning now. If anything else I can take that income and reinvest it back into other niches. There is no way even possible to be able to hit that in the 6 month time frame. It is possible in a one year time frame but not 6 months. This journey is not going the way I planned at all. Yet I am going to stick with it. If it changes a little or a lot and things do not go my way well it is what it is. Adapt and overcome. At least this way I am going to be able to spend less money then I originally planned and TBH I did not even have to spend any money if I just trusted myself a little more. Live and learn.

Well another day another empty update. Reading others similar success stories is keeping me going. Just today was reading about a guy who in 8 months built up a niche site making 600 per month in 8 months time frame and sold it at empire flippers for 10k. Lol that is absolutely nuts and and and not only that it was a thinner site. Half the work done in which I am wanting to do so who knows maybe my new formed idea might not be a bad one and all else fails flip it on out.

However when I do hit 600 per month and I will with this site I am going to just reinvest it right back into content. Even if I outsource it there is still a lot of work to do. When you get big enough it is time to go big and start doing reviews. So this means I will have to at the very least get accepted into affiliate programs do research check out catchy titles for the reviews. Quick 300-500 words for the review of a product followed by the link to the product. Main content can be 500 to 1000 word researched information. Maybe even a news section with new products or companies coming out which I can do 300 word blip about. The content will add up quickly giving me a great deal of authority and long tail keywords.

Yet I am getting ahead of myself. First thing first. First some good solid content to get google giving me some love. Next continue with the solid content untill google loves me enough to send me 25 visitors a day. THEN and only THEN am I going to focus on monetization.

In Professor Farnsworth voice "Good news Everyone!" Design is coming along. Granted it is not the best design (Not an authority site type design). It is just what the seller is selling a MNS type design. Yet it is a start. It will do as I transition it from MNS to Authority.

Looks like plugins have been installed. Some fairly basic ones that are needed for just about any site. Some quality of life add ons. I am impressed that the provider did take the extra mile as that was not included in the sales pitch. Some plugins that did not make any since to me I guess that these plugins will be understood better when I see them in action. They are popular plugins yet they to me seem like bulk. I do not wish to name said plugins as I am not telling the sellers secret sauce as it is possible that said plugins could be extremely important.

Happy Saturday everyone. Waiting on the content part as of right now. Might take a bit not sure. Right now I am trying to generate some good article titles myself to be able to write some great content.
I also came up with some additional monetization ideas.
1. OFC Adsense
2. Amazon when traffic can support it.
3. When I am able to turn out decent profits from Amazon maybe switch to drop shipping. I would want to be able to afford a DECENT fulfillment center. I know a lot of people use aliexpress. Yet to be professional I do not want people waiting weeks for what they buy. I want to have stock in hand and buy in bulk for greater discounts. Bigger discounts means more profits. I also want the items repackaged.
4. a Monthly of the month type club. This niche would actually be perfect for that. I would ofc have to buy and look over quality of items as one bad month and I could lose subs. Do some market testing with lots of polls. Find a reasonable point. Create unique packs and hand pick the items myself.
5. Maybe sell do it yourself kits. This is mostly for hobbiest.

Happy Sunday everyone!

Spent 20.00 on groceries. 8 TV dinners... That will last me four days. I get paid on Monday and will spend 20.00 buying the same. They are quick easy and I can eat under 5.00 per day. Then next week I have a 30.00 phone bill coming up. YEA!!!! (not). 5.00 on cat food because I have a huge kitten. Then spend 30.00 on some articles. This will leave me a 15.00 cushion.

I can put in more next week. It will be easier once the site can support itself. When it gets to the point that I can just reinvest the earnings. That would be great. Then when the traffic gets to where I need to be I can go back to the 50/50 model of owning a business invest 50 percent into growth and pay yourself 50 percent.

There is a lot I can do with this niche. Yet to me it seems that it is going to take a long long long time to get there. YES it will get there. Now my goal is not even just income. This is a niche I can make a lot of money on. This is a new territory for me. I started out wanting to make MNS. I saw a niche with a big opportunity so good I just did not want to allow all the ideas and money to just say nah just treating it like an mns. As an MNS in this niche could potentially be leaving thousands on the table.

I am going to prep up and put on a FB retargeting pixel. Later on down the road I believe it would be nice to retarget some of the people who originally visited my site. Especially if I eventually go the dropshipping route.

How long have I been working on this here? 3 months? 3 years? Okay all jokes aside it appears to be going super slow. Couple articles appeared on the site. Looks like keyword fodder but as the saying goes it is what it is. At least it is not empty. Still missing a few aspects and has a double navigation bar at the top so do not think they are done yet. I feel the homepage is missing a branding opportunity that google loves. You know explaining the purpose of the site why it was created and who it is created for. Maybe link to some internal pages further reading type of deals. Maybe an external link to an information article for reference.

All good this is just a starter footstep type of deal. Google is not going to perma penalize me for a just created blog with no backlinks. They will give it time to see if it ships up and if not then they ship it out. Yet long as I am following there best practices I should be fine. They want engaging content. So eventually I will have to replace the current content. People now want there content FAST and engaging. They do not want 1000000000 words on what something a two year old knows what it is. A very simple picture brief explanation (300 to 500 words) maybe a youtube video you are good to go. Then you can expand on that with further articles. Google will love you for it. Breaking content up in chunks with further reading creates activity on your blog as to get all the info they are desiring they will have to read more articles which google will thank you for by sending you more traffic.

Example: What is a couch cover?
Picture of a couch cover 300 - 500 word article on what the purpose is and what it does.
End of Article thinking on getting a couch cover read here on cleaning and maintenance before you buy!
Of course they will click they want to see if it is a lot of work to take care of it. Or you can insert any clickbait you want. Long as it is important to the pertaining article.

i didn't go through the comments so forgive me if i repeated something. I think one website with 5000 pages on it can make you wayyy more than 100 sites each with 50 pages on them, so instead of creating many sites and hoping some of them rank, create only one and know for sure it will rank.

Content. I want to see where the content falls based on merit alone. After I get this I will do outreach as with this site I want something that will last and not worry about using grey or black SEO that can devour your rankings in a single update. I want to be as under the radar and give google everything they want with all I have. I want a sustainable business. My only secret sauce will be strong internal linking. With a semi automated outreach. (Scrape like websites scrape contact info then submit query)

You sir are correct. (Ding Ding! Check PLEASE!) This is the adjusted plan I wrote about. This niche I found has a ton of possibilities and tons of long tail keywords. If I was to target all long tails it is easy 500k searches a month. I have a list of about 1k keywords I generated with about 90 percent being easily ranked for. Anywhere from 10 searches all the way up to 20k. I found a nice golden goose as it is an item that can be dropshipped or use Amazon AFF. Lol yes I know this journal has a lot of clutter but tell you what I will go over it when I show it is successful and create a blueprint on the making money forum.

I am gonna be honest with you. IF I make it is because I have no unrealistic expectation of time frame. I know it is not going to be immediate. I know best case scenario it will be a year down the road. I am experienced enough to understand until it becomes stable which could take many many months there is really no metric I can count on. Yes traffic may do really really good one day next day it might be shit yet from experience until Google says hey this man got his act together and is giving our searchers exactly what they want this is what I know will happen. I know this will take some time. My only only only hope is that within 6 months it will be self sustainable. That in 6 months I will not have to put my money into this but can put money my site has earned into it. Once it gets to that point I will be happy. I will not have to budget as hard any more and can actually enjoy a few more luxuries like more food. LOL.

Looked at the articles closer. One is 500ish one is 600ish. To me it looks like a wall of text. I mean great fodder for search engines but honestly not something I think people want to actually read. I would love to see articles people actually want to read. You can not do this with mountain of text. People lack patience anymore to read that much or lol as my friend above me said too lazy. (No offense just using you as an example of what readers want. You are the typical reader.)

A wall of text will ultimately lead to less engagement. YES Maybe just maybe google will love you but readers will not. If your site performs poorly with engagement then ultimately google will fail you. I outlined the perfect Internal SEO plan. Picture + Facts in simplest form possible + Link to internal further reading (clickbait of sorts example Thinking of buying xyz READ this article first) Increased activity on your blog which means google will be happy. Goal is for lowest bounce rate possible. News sites know this hence the clickbait on there site misleading melodramatic titles just so you at least click one more page to lower the bounce rate on there site.

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!!!! I am having troubles finding what I want in an article writer. They key is perfect grammar and English that I lack. Also the content must be engaging fun to read and informative without fluff. I have searched forums and fact checked reviews. I have tried fiverr (WHAT 150.00 for an article are they smoking crack?) The ones that will work for 5.00 an article act like they are doing you a favor and complain when others complain about there Engrish. Yes Engrish I said it. The ones for 1500 for a three hundred word article has just as many negative reviews but are suposively TOP sellers.

What I am looking for is 300 word article for 3.00 and I am looking to buy 7 this week because my phone bill is due.

Spent 5.00 on a jar of coffee (Cheap I was going once a day to the coffee house and spending that once a day.)
Spent 20.00 on Groceries

Sure it does not look like I have a big room to play and that I should not be partaking in this project but I have to do something. As you can see I have zero money to lose and this project even if goes south I can sell the property. So it will not be a total loss. If I keep up the growth space in one year even if it makes nothing that will be 360 articles on one subject. I am sure a site with 360 articles of unique content would be worth a grand or two. YES I know but you will put more than a grand in it. Sure this is true. Yet a lump sum one grand I can revisit and redo and take some of my mistakes and correct them.

Update: Site actually looks pretty damn amazing. 100 times better than I thought it would look. One flaw is it has two menus under one another which I did tell him about. (In retrospect I can probably fix this but....) Content writers all flaked then by some miracle yesterday I received a tip on a good writer. I paid him today leaving me with 13.00 to my name. He is writing 7 articles for me at between 300 to 350 words a piece at 20.00 a week. In email he was very very well spoken. So I have high hopes for this guy.

Take away - Things are not progressing as fast as I would like for sure. The things is though it is progressing along. I should be happy with that and I am. I do have high hopes. My VERY first goal is a steady 25 visitors per day. I am hoping to achieve this in two or three months.

Site is finished and looks great. I can not believe the price I paid for it. To me it was totally worth it now that I see it. For the price I could not ask for better. Took out all the grunt work for me. Wrote a review. Waiting to hear back from my content curator. Excited about that but I am sure it will be a few days down the road. This is going soooooooo slow. Interesting enough I have had 12 visitors today. Lol no I am 200 percent positive it is NOT from google. Social and direct. Really odd too.

I am getting clicks and impressions in Google webmaster tools but with no queries .... Odd odd indeed. So no search term but evidently there is some clicks coming in from google and impressions but no idea what keywords.

Uneventful day. At work currently. Killing time. Great thing about my job is I can work while I work which is great if you like to work as you can be working while you are working. I did something really bad today which was borrow 5.00 from my boss so I have some money to go for a walk tomorrow and get me a cup of coffee. I hate borrowing because it is a slippery slope. You can easily get behind and start robbing peter to pay paul.

So while I wait how about some retro Torchlight I got for free during a special Arc ran. Yeah yeah shouldn't I be doing something? I HATE waiting.
