Following Strange Accounts

I manage several of my own Instagram accounts in various niches through one of the popular Instagram bots. On each account (there's over 20), I'm scraping/following other users based on the hashtags they are using on their posts. Each account uses a different set of queries to scrape from and there isn't any overlap.

Today I noticed each of my accounts is following very spammy Instagram pages. Here are a few of them that I have noticed:

None of these spam accounts use any hashtags, so I do not know why the Instagram bot is following them, since the only following source is from the hashtags that I have selected. I have however confirmed that the bot did follow such accounts, and it was not due to some third party app that has access to the Instagram accounts.

I did notice that each of these spam accounts I have followed on various accounts has checked into strange locations. I'm thinking that either the bot has a glitch, Instagram has a glitch and is somehow showing these accounts in the hashtag results, or these spam accounts are adding hashtags to their posts and then deleting them.

I am not mentioning the name of the bot for now out of respect for the bot company, in case this is not an issue with the bot. However it is possible that it is the bot itself that has some issue causing this.

Is anyone else noticing that they are following these strange "fgr" accounts? Any help would be appreciated with this.

Maybe the bot is running some parallel jobs for the bot maker?

Those accounts are a big footprint, they all obviously belong to the same person.

This would be one definite conclusion. I'm hoping this is not the case, as this is one of the biggest bot makers.

Yes all of these spam accounts I noticed are definitely belonging to the same person. Has anyone else noticed their account(s) following such "fgr" accounts within the past few days?
