You think Ripple is done? think again.

Seems like both our sources are right about XRP. It is still going up non stop. $10 could be a possibility within a month of two.

10$ ; really? It should have a 387 Billions Marketcap . I don't think so...

Dude, you don't have to replace it if it's banned.
Do you have any idea how many countries banned BTC already?

.

Morocco, Bolivia, Ecuador, Kyrgystan, Bangladesh, Nepal. Wow, Soooooo many!!

@honestIM Keeps insisting on a $10 ripple. its not unrealistic. it is HUGE but not impossible.
Like i said im more conservative and I do believe we will see a $5 ripple in 2018, probably Q1.

@mickyfu hope you got in bro, it dipped yesterday and now its up another 30%.

I think it shoots up from the same reason bitcoin cash shot up with "no apparent reason" prior adding to coinbase. Most ppl think it will be added to coinbase so they buy, and other ppl KNOW (insider trading) it will get into coinbase, so they buy too :)

@Vapys wether its "shit" or not isn't the question. u had an opportunity yesterday to make 50% on your money... the odds of ripple dropping in the next few days are slim to none, its on an uptrend. even if I hated tripple i would stilll throw money on it just to make some money and then get out. you guys are too emotional... just be in to for the money dont overthink it

people invest in cryptocurrency and dont know ripple is not decentralized :) its not good for this market :)
i do know and i invested. I believe that xrp being centralized is what will make it live when all other coins die.

Like I say before, market cap is relative and not fix. Especially when you are benchmarking on BTC. Remember BTC market cap is growing still as we speak so this current market cap is not constant. I made a mistake previously valuing crypto using market cap. But I was really wrong about this since the market cap is constantly moving as we speak. How do we benchmark onto something that is not fixed. That is my point here. Not saying that you are wrong but crypto is really strange and defeat conventional way of valuation. (I still WILL NOT INVEST LONG TERM INTO crypto as I still do not know how to compute the residual asset value.).

I got your point.

Someone said "at least he's gambling on the future, not red or black" - gambling on red or black is EXACTLY what you're all doing - it can go up or down, you're gambling it's going to keep going up forever, like the roulette wheel will always spin black.

Anyway, all of you pro traders (lol) must I assume have done your homework and must understand all of this inside out, so.....

Now that blockchain is obsolete, how is bitcoin etc going to have any value when the new superior technology takes over?

I take it you all know that the hashgraph is going to replace all blockchain "currencies"?

Right?

None of us are pro trader(maybe except @honestIM she actively trades forex)

But instead of bashing us "pro traders" who made %150 on their money in the last week... you should have tried to understand why we got into ripple and maybe do the same.

All of you condescending people who love using the "pro traders" and "warren buffets" and 'jordan belfords' or w/e... you guys keep whining while we triple and quadruple our monies. :) go ripple :)

I'm not debating that you might have "made" 150% last week, but in the not too distant future you'll be down 90% from where you are now if you don't convert your theoretical gains into real money.

I've done a lot of investing, I manage my own pension fund by trading in stocks, and you're making the same mistake I've seen over and over again with loads of overhyped stocks.

You can't even contemplate that you might be wrong and that this can't go up forever, and because it's a big bubble that's inflating you mistake the inevitable gains at this point for confirming your beliefs and confirming your trading "genius", so you're suffering from confirmation bias - you're only seeing what you want to see.

Who said its gonna go up forever? if you manage your own stocks you should understand that crypto can be as risky as trading stocks (I've traded stocks and forex before)

Who promises you that a company you invest your money in won't go belly up and your money will disappear?

Do you know that the ppl who invested in tweeter stock in 2013 for instance, a huge company btw thats supposedly " successful ", lost almost 50% of their money if they are still holding it? lol it used to be $40 something, and now its around $20...

Thats tweeter, a 'well known' respected, bla bla, company. so again, who says crypto trading is more dangerous than stocks? thats just 1 example there are hundreds of companies that prove the same thing.

So thats why I said "id rather bet on the future" which is digital currency.

Crypto is FAR more risky than stocks, and I personally would never invest in Twitter - I'm looking for stocks that are well undervalued and I'm looking to hold them long term - like Character Group - I bought them probably 9 years ago at 46p, they've been over 500p since then.

It's far less risky to invest a chunk of money in something like that where the price is supported and derived by a real business and can be checked every 6 months when the latest figures come out, than to put money into something that falls and rises by 30%+ per day on the basis of - nothing.

Real companies don't just go belly up for no reason overnight, but crypto is one big bubble and could easily wipe you out in 24 hours, especially if people are trading on margins - honestly it's exactly the same as in 1929 and the mentality is the same too.

If we still had shoe shine boys they'd be advising to buy - just like the one did to Jo Kennedy in 1929, which prompted him to sell everything because it made him realise it was a bubble.

The signs are there already, and they never change.

Ok so Sears, Macys, Dilliards... are these 'real businesses' for you? cool then you go put all your money on sears and macys( you'll probably lose it ALL by next year btw when they go bankrupt) and ill keep investing on digital, which is the future :)

See thats why i keep saying its all relative and depends on the trader.

If im giving you $100,000 and giving you 2 options - invest in Ripple or invest in Sears would you pick sears? if you are you need to do some serious thinking...

Anyways, RIPPLE PASSED ETHERS' marketcap. Unbelievable.

As posted on one of the other 2000 crypto threads here (half of those you opened pushing your shit coins to newbs), I've owned XRP since it was 0.76 and I have tons of it.

haha every coin i started a thread on went up anywhere from 25% to %100 ... don't throw false accusations unless you have proof.
Like they say "haters gonna hate, and ain'ters gonna aint " :D

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I'm going to buy some ripple coins now

I wouldn't invest in Sears - your logic is completely flawed - you're saying "would you rather invest in this highly speculative bubble or in a shit company" - I wouldn't invest in either.

I'm putting my money in GREAT, solid, viable companies, not big named companies just because they're big named companies.

I honestly believe you haven't got a clue what you're doing or talking about.

You're trying to justify gambling money by comparing investing it in shit companies as though that's the only alternative.

AND WHAT ABOUT THE HASHGRAPH - YOU NEVER ANSWERED THE MOST IMPORTANT BIT - IT MAKES BLOCKCHAIN OBSOLETE!!!!!!!

This is a pretty terrible comparison post. Why would you use a business that is known to be failing? You're pushing your own agenda of being the biggest super smarty pants.

Instead, the question should include two options on the rise, for a discussion on which successful option is better.
If I had 100k, would I invest it in ripple, or Amazon?

Depending on the two options above, you can prove you're an idiot, or intelligent. The choice you choose, and with reason, will tell the world if you're ready for trading on ANY platform.

I dont understand why every post here has to be "idiot " stupid or w/e... ya'll are brave behind your cute laptops and keyboards..come say it to my face ill show u something cool :) so anyway stop with the name calling it doesnt make u look tough or anything.

I would invest on ripple vs amazon because im doing short-term plays, and ripple almost tripled in a few days, while amazon traded for around $700 at the begning of the year, and now its at around $1100... did it go up? sure... did it double, triple or soon to be quadruple? HELL NO. so again it depends on which moves you're making like i told the other guy.

BTW its cute and all that you "chose" amazon after it went up %1000 of percents. but a lot of ppl who thought like you do picked tweeter and lost 50% of their money... so far our ripple choice seems to be good so...

For HashGraph to be where Blockchain technology is today it needs first to reach at least 50% of popularity and adoption of what blockchain technology currently has which can take years. Nothing is more advanced until the masses adopt it, and blockchain had years ahead of hashgraph for development. It sure is a step forward in a technological advancement but i would still bet my money on blockchain at this time.

Guys please read my 2 comments. I`m not pro but anybody can count.
