You think Ripple is done? think again.

And when Ripple does not hit $5 in February, you will come back and admit you are wrong?

Just a question.

My goal is recover a bit off Verge (already slightly back in profit (I think) I'm hoping the good old "Wraith" takes off at 23.59.pm "GMT" tonight as planned (supposedly).

Then my plan is Ripple for the add to Coinbase beginning of January.

I'm going to try and stick to these two gambles. Two gambles that are documented here. I'm not going to join the next hype thread pretending that these two losses never occurred.

See that is one of the big issues here. People are quick to claim success when it suits, and brush the rest aside.

If Ripple will actually hit Coinbase, the price will be already very inflated.

Due to its huge marketcap ( 58B atm) it would be an epic / incredible situation if it double it's price, because it means it should have 100B + capitalization (ethereum has 72 for example)
On the other side if it not hits Coinbase or some whale decides to dump AF or some bad news occurs, the price will dip sooo bad.

I think you can find very less risky gambles with the same / much higher ROI.

Just my 2 cents ;)

Forgive me if I'm wrong, as I have better things to do than follow crypto to the word.

However haven't the Ripple fanboys preached about banks, American Express....ect for years? Also from my "knowledge" Bitcoin Cash (Again I don't follow crypto too close) was added to Coinbase, was pumped and dropped like a sack of shit.

So in my "expertise" we would be better riding Ripple for 30 mins or so through Coinbase, then dumping it. Because of guess that is what is going to happen.

I get it man i dont judge
but what u said about BCH isnt true, it didn't drop like shit, it was around $1800 when it was added to coinbase then jumped to around 4K and now its around $2500 so the point is if you got in at the right price you're still good.

In terms of ripple my opinion which is speculation based on everything i read and watch online, is that it will be added to coinbase, that will at least double the price imo..so lets say $3? and then i believe they will announce the partnership with either amazon or another big company... and that will probably add another $1-2 to the price...thats why I said $5...

What some people fail to see is that BTC is the 8 track tape of a new technology. It WILL be replaced by newer tech and Asia, USA has allowed ripple in.
Consider that when you try to play that same OLD tech.

Oh thats for sure... btc will be replaced eventually... the question is when not if...

Ripple WILL replace BTC.

WTF are you talking about? ripple is a centralized coin made for banks and big institutions bitcoin is a decentralized coin the whole purpose behind btc was to cut the banks and do peer to peer transaction ... how can ripple REPLACE btc?

For all the FUDs and Fake News Spreading Retards out there:

https://coinjournal.net/south-koreas-bitcoin-regulation-highly-optimistic-false-reports-claim-ban/

Over the past 24 hours, a series of false reports from news publications including Reuters have claimed that the South Korean government is planning on banning or closing down cryptocurrency exchanges.

An initial report from Reuters, which has since been corrected, stated that the South Korean government is expected to close down cryptocurrency exchanges in the local market.

However, the South Korean government has never released such a statement. The official document released by the South Korean government translated by CoinJournal read:

  1. The government will continue to evaluate the cryptocurrency trading trend and impose practical regulations in a timely manner.
  2. The Ministry of Justice has drafted a special cryptocurrency law and is considering the possibility of closing down exchanges involved in suspicious or illicit activities such as money laundering.
  3. The government will strictly handle speculative movements in the local cryptocurrency market but will facilitate the growth of cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies.
The South Korean government has already imposed one policy which prevents underaged and foreign investors from trading cryptocurrencies on local exchanges in order to bring the speculative mania from the South Korean market under control.

In the past, South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon and Deputy Prime Minister Yoo Il-ho publicly expressed their concerns https://coinjournal.net/south-korean-ministers-bitcoin-corrupting-kids-logic-flawed/ that has led underaged investors, including middle, high school students to invest in bitcoin. Prime Minister Nak-Yeon specifically emphasized that students have begun to allocate most of their time, resources, and intellectual capacity in day-trading cryptocurrencies, describing it as a worrisome trend.

The South Korean government also prohibited foreigners from trading bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the local market because of its previous crackdown on Chinese traders who brought in massive amounts of bitcoin from China to South Korea with the sole intent of arbitraging and laundering money.

As it had noted in its statement released this week, the South Korean government has acknowledged bitcoin as a legitimate asset class and is moving towards regulating bitcoin as the market continues to grow. It does not intend to interfere in the growth of its local cryptocurrency market. Rather, the South Korean government is aiming to better regulate the market.

Over the past 12 months, several large-scale cryptocurrency-related Ponzi schemes were discovered throughout the country. One of the largest bitcoin-related Ponzi schemes was a $200 million operation, which took the funds from tens of thousands of investors from middle-aged to old investors.

Local exchanges stated that they welcome regulations from the South Korean government because it will prevent any more funds from being allocated to nefarious schemes, instead it will be redirected to regulated platforms.

In the first week of December, a spokesperson of a cryptocurrency task force formed by the South Korean Ministry of Strategy and Finance, Financial Services Commission, Ministry of Justice, Fair Trade Commission, and Financial Supervisory Commission http://biz.chosun.com/site/data/html_dir/2017/12/08/2017120801540.html?main_hot1 the South Korean government will follow the regulatory roadmap set by leading markets like the US and Japan.

“The South Korean government has no other choice but to follow the regulatory frameworks and trends established by other leading governments. While there certainly exists a negative reputation attached to the cryptocurrencies, the government’s stance is to allow what has to be allowed, for the benefit of the South Korean market.”

Given the optimistic approach of the South Korean government to better regulate the market and facilitate demand for cryptocurrencies, local exchanges and investors remain highly optimistic in regards to the long-term growth trend of bitcoin.

What a month for cryptos... all the consecutive events and fake news. If this recent fake news didn't impact BTC and altcoins prices much, you should know it ain't gonna die easily.

Dude, you don't have to replace it if it's banned.
Do you have any idea how many countries banned BTC already?

Don't get me wrong, I don't care wether you buy or sell.... but I won't be holding those 2 lbs of shit in that one pound bag.
Good luck.

We thank you for your concern. But every one of us have different risk appetite. It is whether the people with huge risk appetite takes 'good risk' or 'bad risk'. Period.

Also from my "knowledge" Bitcoin Cash (Again I don't follow crypto too close) was added to Coinbase, was pumped and dropped like a sack of shit.

That's accurate as far as what happened, although coinbase didn't add it because they saw potential in it.
Basically, as a hard fork of bitcoin, it should have started at a value of $0 (new coin). BUT, instead, the devs decided to say "anyone who owns bitcoin automatically owns BCH", which left coinbase in a strange place. Essentially people were demanding their stakes in BCH and so they added the currency and declared that anyone who owned BTC before aug 2017 would have the same amount in BCH.

Mostly a ponzi scheme.

Ultimately, in the future, coinbase will only add coins that serve their interest, i.e.:
- high market cap
- high value for institutional investors
- at some point they said they would only add decentralized coins, but I can't find this and xrp is technically not decentralized... I will return with sources if I find it

This is what shocks me. The vast amount of people who don't see that it can be banned.

The vast amount of people in pump and dump groups, that have no fucking clue that what they are doing is highly illegal. Well just wait till the shit hits the fan.

I guess you missed the "I don't care" part of my post. I guess selective reading is a must by some.

And I guess some people just can't detect sarcasm. *roll eyes*

Are these guys considered legit? If that’s the case.. expect Bitcoin to easily take 2-3k within the next 24 hours

Think about it. If the Korean government is banning cryptos, why the hell would bitcoin and all its altcoins (especially XRP) are doing so well when Koreans hold them the most?

Just check Bithumb and compare its last price for XRP, Bitcoin and whatever altcoins... it is holding strong. If the ban is true, wouldn't it have crashed a long time ago? And since Koreans are the majority of speculators wouldn't bitcoin have crashed way worst than its previous crash?

This is my last post. Not gonna bother anymore and just focus on my gains and enjoy. It is like a Trump supporter talking sense to a Hillary supporter and vice-versa. It leads to an endless debate with nothing gain on either sides.

Happy New Year (in advance) everyone and HODL!

I wonder what the transaction fees within binance and bithub are because theres a freaking 30 cents difference! 1.32 on binance 1.62 on bithumb
Maybe we can make money on that gap... anyone knows how that could work?

You can make a lot of money doing this. But you need a good amount of money in to make a profit. This is called arbitrage. Create buy/sell walls in each of them. Whales do this every day all day long. There are bots that do this stuff too. Very expensive technology to.

I was asking a legit question. I’m not a crypto supporter nor am I a hater. I have never owned a Bitcoin or any other coin but I do have a forex account and I made a lot of money with Bitcoin since September. I opened a trade at $3.5/pips at $13 069 and hit my SL at 15k (I thought it was going to go higher).

You can’t say the news didn’t affect the market 48 hours ago because Bitcoin went down 3000 pips after the news was released

If that site is right (I don’t know who they are and if they are a trusted source). If it was in fact a fake news, then I can see Bitcoin rising 3000+ pips in the next 24 hours and I sure want to make money out of it.

people invest in cryptocurrency and dont know ripple is not decentralized :) its not good for this market :)

Hi guys,

Wanted to share with you guys why im going to shove MORE (im already in ripple since 0.74~) money into ripple (as soon as it dips, I dont buy at all time highs)

According to ripples' owner they are working on partnerships with 2 'huge companies that are household names' - i believe one of them is amazon, heres the tweet from Joel (founder)

You can find his original msg somewhere on twitter.

2nd - there was a screenshot released of XRP to be on coinbase on the 1/8/2018.
theres probably a 99% it will get to coinbase in 2018 even without the screenshot.

So based on these 2 things...XRP will only grow, im a big believer in ripple got in a little late but im going to get more...

Hope that helps guys, this isnt financial advice but buy ripple :) lol

Seems like both our sources are right about XRP. It is still going up non stop. $10 could be a possibility within a month of two.
