Hello i have a question that's bugging me for a week, I have on my site installed related posts plugin and i've read about internal links. Can i link back from my articles to the posts i want to rank higher with internal links or is enough that i have the related posts plugin installed ?

Related post plugin just displays post in the bottom, and that will not be considered as internal links. I recommend to link post from your article. Hope it helps you :)

Sometime internal linking backfires so make sure you do research on this topic before starting interlinking. Related post plugin is not enough.

Thanks guys for the answers. I will read a bit more about internal links.

With adding more internal backlinks to the most important pages you are telling G about their importance. More internal links to the partocular inner page means more authority (and higher rankings) since you are pulling a part of authority from other pages. But, link smart and with sense :)

No, it's a special link in a limbo between external and internal. Of course it's an internal link.

If you have a huge site, then it can be pain in the ass to link from the content. Of course, this is more effective and better overall if you have time and nerves to do it that way. Ideally, you want to do it both ways for ideal onsite SEO. Don't overdo it with exact anchors though.
