Xrumer - What can we use it for?

I'm tempted to get Xrumer, it looks fascinating and capable of delivering more than it's price back in a short space of time.

I am just after some ideas as to what it can be used for, i presume we can have sites set up with BHCB and then post messages suggesting the use of that particular site.

Also backlinks, you can get lots of backlinks and get better SERPS results.

What else do people use it for?

Just the hrefer software alone that comes with it is awesome for url scraping. Then there is the massive database of avatars and names to make your life easy when posting. Everything is well thought out and it makes automation simple.

Yes as well as backlinks, you can use it for mass pm'ing as well.

Is a server necessary? Isn't it possible to use it from your own desktop computer (while using proxies)?

It possible to use Xrumer desktop. But U need broad bandwidth (2 mb/sec + unlimited traffic)

u can run it from ur own connection and you dont need to use proxies, forum spam isnt illegal, volumedrive.com are happy to have xrumer posting boxes and hosted domains on their network, iv been doing it there for ages now (their network rocks and a core2quad is dirt cheap compared to most other datacenters)

wouldnt bother running it from your own connection if you had less than 10/1mbit though otherwise your just gonna be cursing how slow it is, also you want an absolute minimum of 2gig of ram in the box though id recommend 4gig as when you try out the new antispam system... well, lets just say it eats some ram
